Absolutely Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs! I had one of the worst customer service experiences with Alternative Airlines. I accidentally booked the wrong ticket (which I take responsibility for), but since my flight is still over 4 months away, I reached out promptly to correct it. They gave me a quote for the change and a payment link, which I paid within 15 minutes. I then contacted them for confirmation, only to be told that the quote had gone up, and I’d need to pay more. They claimed this was mentioned in the email — but the way they communicated was completely unclear, vague, and unprofessional. Despite my frustration, I agreed to pay the new price just to get it sorted. They sent another payment link via email, and this time I paid in literally 1 minute. Shockingly, when I reached out for confirmation again, they told me I had to pay even more — yes, within a minute, the price “increased” again. This is not only absurd, it’s borderline predatory behavior. Their system is flawed, their communication is misleading, and their customer service is appalling. It feels like a trap where they just keep upping the cost the moment you pay. I wouldn’t recommend Alternative Airlines to anyone. If you value transparency, professionalism, and basic respect as a customer, do yourself a favor and avoid them completely. It’s not worth the few pounds you might think you’re saving — trust me, it’ll cost you much more in stress and extra fees.
