Easy to get the flight but expensive

I booked a flight through Alternative Airlines for what was confirmed as a 2 June 2025 departure on Etihad Airways. When I arrived at the airport, I was told the flight had actually left on 1 June—a full day earlier. This was a critical ticketing error, not a schedule change, and I received no notification. As a result, I missed my flight, spent hours stranded, had to travel between cities, and lost an entire day of plans in Cape Town. Alternative Airlines admitted the error but only refunded AED 200, which doesn’t cover the cost of the missed flight or the inconvenience. Booking with them cost me time, money, and peace of mind. If you’re booking international travel, especially time-sensitive flights, I recommend using a more reliable and responsive service.
