Great that it covers previous illnesses
Buying travel insurance from All Clear was a great experience. I was concerned about whether I would fall foul of one of the general conditions in their policies but found that the salesperson, Gary P, was patient and thorough in disentangling the possible complication I was anxious about. He was helpful and reassuring - so important when travelling long distance and wary of stories of folks being denied their claims. Where I showed my confusion GaryP checked with his manager to reassure me. Whist I am generally fit and healthy he took the time to ensure I was confident in the product I was buying. Well done GaryP and if this is the way the whole company operates then I can understand why Which? rates them so highly ( and the Which? endorsement was what attracted me to them in the first place).
To have a pleasant and patient person listen to you when you have to take time to answer questions makes it so much easier to make your decision to purchase your insurance …..

Our existing policy was cancelled as other half was put on the waiting list for a procedure. Called a few insurers to explain what was going on and got nowhere. Called All Clear after reading about them on the British Heart Foundation forums. Explained the procedure up front. Had a long conversation, and there was none of this "computer says no". 40 mins later, we're covered for the year, including anything procedure related, and all set for Indonesia in a few weeks. Tony, listened to what I needed, he then found me a cover that suited my needs exactly. Tony was at all times polite and professional, everything he said was clear and fully understandable not rushed like some sales reps from other companies, and the prices he found me for my annual cover were very very competitive

Had to buy holiday insurance at last moment when my current insurer couldn’t cover a new medical condition, as their phone lines were closed. Thank goodness for Allclear who were still open and who sorted my cover immediately. Very efficient, helpful and supportive. Lost one star as I think it is quite high price but worth it for peace of mind. Thank you.

Tony was extremely patient and helpful . I haven’t travelled abroad for 40 years and so setting up my travel insurance for a forthcoming trip to visit relatives in Spain was a fairly new experience for me. Tony guided me through all the questions and explained everything fully although of course he could not advise me regarding my answers. He was very friendly, polite and professional.
