Very easy to do even online
Terrible insurance to deal with. they refuse to take responsibility when their driver hit my car in April. They said that their driver isn’t responding to their phone calls or emails, surely that means he has something to hide? It’s been almost 6 months and he still doesn’t respond to them… In that case surely you accept liability by default? This has caused me many problems as I have an open claim. Ageas are horrible avoid! They insure people who jump red lights and run. The guy hasn’t responded in 5+ months. I have provided all the evidence required through 1st central so accept responsibility.
A necessary obligation
Why am I charger £20 to renew my policy? You have all my details on record, so no actual work required except take payment. This the reward for customer loyalty?

Having had my car written off over 2 months ago with the fault been accepted by Ageas UK’s customer I have been waiting for them to respond to my insurers. I disputed the offer they made and provided evidence that it was low but despite my insurers chasing for an answer for 10 weeks they are apparently not taking their calls! Appaling and unprofessional.

The operators were knowledgeable helpful and understanding. Answered tge phones promptly abd called back when they said they woukd.
Ageaes have been great to be with for the last few years , but sadly being a pensioner now , monies are tight And unfortunately they didn't get anywhere near the renewal price against the other companies ... So with regret I've had to move on....

Online renewal was very easy. The renewal quote for my home insurance was much lower than comparison sites. Very pleasantly surprised.

This company has now made themselves impossible to contact by phone or email. Last year they added £700 at least to my premium because I had a claim against me for making a small dent in a parked car 10 months previously. They admitted that their staff gave me false information over who sets the premium. They insisted it was the broker. The broker rang them and they admitted their mistake. Rightly or wrongly they insisted it wouldn't matter if I'd written off a fleet a cars, my premium would have been the same!!!!!!! They promised they would let me know if this claim was ever settled but they never did!!!!!! Their previous email no longer works!!!!! After speaking to a recorded system an hour ago I was told to expect a wait of 10 to 20 minutes!!!!! I I have 50 yrs experience of driving. Never had a point on my licence or even a parking fine. Over several phone calls last May this company gave me no reason to trust them. How could I when so many of their staff don't know who sets the Insurance Premiums. From my experience this company couldn't care less about their customers. Save yourself a lot of heartache and look elsewhere. It would appear, if you have an accident, in my experience there's no point in insurance as you have to pay for the damage yourself. BE WARNED!!!!!!
In theses times of being daily ripped off by profiteering companies ! Ageas have been a breath of fresh air, a reasonably fair price straightforward home insurance renewal .
