Unexpected Call… Great Result

The call initially came out of the Blue late evening as I was looking at and comparing the quote with my existing cover. The agent was able to put me at my ease by providing evidence of his authenticity. He outlined in a little more detail the main benefits and answered my questions making sure I understood

Cover with service,

Overall 247 Home Rescue has been a strange experience. The calls & booking system to arrange a service did not work for us, I had many, many emails saying there is availability but when I clicked to book there was nothing. This went on for a few weeks untill I called to speak to someone and was able to book in. On the day , unfortunately the 'predicted' time kept moving back so the 3hour window they offered on the day turned into 5h+ wait to be called at the end to say it wouldn't be today due to an emergency call out -so I was rebooked. The Engineer himself was fantastic, Paul. Friendly, knowledgeable, called with an exact ETA about 20min before arrival. Advised we do need to consider to replace our boiler, offered to arrange a quote but we declined at this stage but he casually discussed different types of boilers, pros & cons for our property in a non pushy/non sales manner (perfect for us at the moment)! Had he not been our engineer this score would be much lower just due to systems of the customer service but he truly pulled the experience back for us. Paul as an engineer we rate 5*. (Was worth the wait while he delt with an emergency on our booked day) The calls center staff were also polite & overall efficient but I felt like they were up against it with the systems they had to work with. Can't comment of the 'cover' or emergency call out side of their service. On paper was good.

From the start of the process, and appointment was easy to book. The engineer Scott was very knowledgeable in his field, and talked through the process of what he was going to do. He completed the service within 46 mins.
