I spoke to someone on the ostomy side about the form of medical necessity for the barrier strips I desperately need added to my order. I have been waiting over a month. My doctor has sent the paperwork over four times now. This last time I spoke to a lady named Eileen and told her that my doctors office has told me they have sent the paperwork over multiple times. She was quiet didn’t say anything and I asked if there was a way I could speak to someone above her to get this figured out. She said in a very condescending tone “No, but you can call your doctor”. I just told you I have spoken to my doctor. I just need to get this figured out. She was very rude for absolutely no reason. I still have gotten no help with getting my barrier strips added. This lady should not be working in the costumer service industry talking to people with disabilities and medical supply needs. 8/6/2024 I still cannot get the barrier strips added to my order. I have been waiting over a week now for someone to speak to my doctors office to explain the Form of Medical Necessity and that it’s not the same as the prescription.
My supplies arrive as anticipated with checking on the order prio to it being sent.
