Be very careful with this company, wanted to check when my MOT was due, somehow managed to get onto this site. I now find that they are taking £7.95 a month out of my account. This is definitely scam country.

If I could give them ZERO stars - I would! I'm another deceived person to add to the queue of people here. We clicked on what we thought was a link to tax a car and then got this sh*t! Very deceitful way of marketing themselves as a government website for car tax. Got charged £7.95 for some BS subscription. They would not budge and stated their system is very clearly....very clearly meant to deceive more like! AVOID AVOID AVOID!

I recently tried to pay my car tax on…
I recently tried to pay my car tax on the official government website and was somehow redirected to VehicleInformation.uk. Without realizing it, I ended up subscribing to a service I don’t need, which resulted in a £7.95 charge after a trial period. I did not intend to sign up for this, and I’m unsure how this happened during what should have been a simple tax payment. I would like to request a full refund and cancel this unwanted subscription. The process has been very confusing and frustrating. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible.

redirected here instead of www.gov.
I did a search for vehicle tax at www.gov and this came up it looked and felt like the .gov website but clearly it's not, went through the process which admittedly is good but it wasn't until later that i realized i hadn't received a email saying Veh tax paid. I have since been able to block and cancel payment. I feel it is a bit scummy in the way it's laid out, that said the information is genuine enough.

Just had £7.95 as an initial payment…
Just had £7.95 as an initial payment for a monthly direct debit. I probably would have search for the road tax amount on a car that I have just bought, but would have done this on the.gov.uk website. I have no idea how Vehicles Information acquired my banking details. I did not provide them with my bank details or authorize this payment. I therefore request that the amount of £7.95 be refunded and any direct debits that have been set up, be cancelled. My bank is also investigating this. Thank you
