Be very careful with this company, wanted to check when my MOT was due, somehow managed to get onto this site. I now find that they are taking £7.95 a month out of my account. This is definitely scam country.

If I could give them ZERO stars - I would! I'm another deceived person to add to the queue of people here. We clicked on what we thought was a link to tax a car and then got this sh*t! Very deceitful way of marketing themselves as a government website for car tax. Got charged £7.95 for some BS subscription. They would not budge and stated their system is very clearly....very clearly meant to deceive more like! AVOID AVOID AVOID!

SCAM! BEWARE! Fake company!!
SCAM!! if I could leave minus 5 stars I would. I was sent a letter purporting to be from DVLA to re-tax my car. When I followed the link to do so, this company took an initial .50p from my account which I thought was very odd and realised immediately that I’d been scammed. The next day it took £7.95. This company claims to be legit, but it’s a huge scam as they’re hoping people won’t notice or follow up. I have reported them to my bank and to DVLA who they are claiming to be. They have a DVLA logo on the letter they send you and link to a faux government website which is very similar to the actual one- but not it! When I called them, they had the audacity to tell me they are connected to DVLA. When I said you’re not, you have nothing to do with the official Car tax agency, why do you have the DVLA logo on your letter head, they said “We are a fully functioning company”. Beware!! Update: Just because this company claims ‘it is a fully functioning website’ does not alter the fact it is a scam and actively redirects you from the Gov.com website to theirs and gives the impression it is the same website! It’s absolutely disgraceful! Despite complaining and requesting a refund, they had the audacity to refund me 0.50p!! I will make it my life’s mission to shut down this fake company. They chose the wrong person to mess with.

It's just a scam. Use vehicle smart app. It's free and actually gets its info from the dvla database. Most motor traders use it.

Very Misleading
Like everyone else, I ended up paying for this when I thought I was renewing my car tax. A complete waste of £8 for something I didn’t want and didn’t need.

Scam
My wife tried to renew her car tax and ended up being navigated to this site, thought the 50p was part of the charge from the UK government process, and missed the £7.95 charge after 24 hours use, asked for a refund not sure if this will happen given other reviews. Avoid at all cost. Thanks for that standard reply Rory I was looking forward to it :D

Very Misleading
Grandparent looked to renew car tax online only to find that they hadn't and had paid for this service instead, very misleading page - given how common this clearly is from the amount of reviews on the website there should be a clear disclaimer that this is a monthly paid subscription that doesn't provide car tax. I'm sure many more unsuspecting people are paying for this subscription unknown to them!

Pretty much the same story as other one star reviews. I’d have given zero stars if I could. Very misleading website. I only realised something was wrong when a friend phoned and happened to say she’d done exactly the same thing. I honestly thought I was paying for my car tax renewal. This company is nothing to do with car tax. I think it’s more than misleading - it’s a con. I’m a 70 year old pensioner and feel very upset by this whole experience. It’s made me very nervous about making any future online payments to anyone.
