Wirex froze my transaction and doesn't let me use my own money

It is a simple USDT transaction which usually took seconds. But now it's taking over 12 hours without any support. The blockchain tracker confirms that the transaction has been successfully processed externally, but Wirex is purposefully holding my money hostage without any reason at all. I'll never use them again. And don't recommend anyone to use them too.

Sono 3 anni che il conto è bloccato, dopo innumerevoli richieste di restituzione del credito, nel gennaio 2025 ci chiedono il numero di conto corrente per versarci quanto spettante. con ulteriori mail, chiediamo un sollecito ma per tutta risposta ci dicono che è tutto in mano " a chi di competenza " ma ad oggi, ancora niente. Non è possibile, non sappiamo più come avere i nostri BTC o l'equivalente in euro. che vergogna. il mio nome è Francesca Usai

Its not possible to withdraw money until certain parts of the app have been verifed and the app doesnt give you instrustion on how to veritfy your account

10,000 EUR held and no replies to emails etc... Avoid at all costs.

Account blocked for apparently (I didn't...) breaking T&Cs but they won't tell me which one I broke. 10,000 EURO stuck and they won't even reply to me. Details sent for transfer but they are blatantly ignoring all contact from myself. They've had my money for weeks with no sign of getting it back. Avoid completely. Wirex - please do not waste your time replying with the usual "To our regret, the refund process following the closure of an account is complex and time-consuming. It requires manual checks and coordination across various departments. While we cannot offer specific timeframes, please rest assured that your case won’t get overlooked." nonsense. All it does is prove you don't even read complaints and have the same auto bot response.

WIREX IS A SCAM I will never stop writing not only reviews but everything that Wirex has done to me. They blocked my account and won't give me my money back. I have almost 3 months of the same thing, but they won't give me my money. IT'S A SCAM WITH A LICENSE, AND WE SHOULD NOT ALLOW IT TO OPERATE ANYMORE BECAUSE IT WILL SCAM OTHERS TOO. WIREX... This company is about to murder my…

After reading your response, be rest assured that my death shall not go in vain. It will be the biggest news in the uk history. I have made well to inform the BBC and every authority concerned about this fraudulent evil wicked and heartless behaviour. I did not steal my money. I work hard for my money and you cannot hold my money and not tell me when you can give it to me even when it involves the wellbeing of a new born baby. You will be suprised at the out come of this I promise you with the last drop of my blood. You hold my own money and tell me you don’t know when you will give me? Did I steal the money? Did I defraud anyone? This is my personal salary you are keeping and suffering an innocent child’s life for more than a month. This company is about to murder my child. They froze my account which I only use for day to day shopping on Clearpay, buying boots products for my baby. They just froze my account with my money in there. I have demanded explanations as to why this happened they responded in generic terms. They gave me 15 working days to respond after delaying me for 2 weeks. At the end of the 15 working days, they extended it to another 15 working days. Every information they asked for , I provided them to verify proof of legitimate source of income. It shouldn’t be difficult to verify this. I begged them with everything in me to please give me my money. I involved the MP representing my constituency to intervene as a child safeguarding matter is imminent, they have been so heartless. I cannot pin point one reason why they are doing this I am at breaking point and I need help .

Collection of information

No reply, delay and collect information for third parties through blocking accounts and ask for personal information and document. After their bla bla useless reply on my review avoid them if you want peace of mind and don't trust them as they collect information using documents for third parties.

In the 2 years or so that I have been…

In the 2 years or so that I have been using wirex I have never encountered any problems, but the constant reports of accounts being blocked without them having access to their funds is something that worries me greatly and makes me question whether to continue working with wirex. If there were no such problem, especially with the blocking of funds, it would be by far the best platform.

The service are slow and expensive.

The transfert on the platform take forever. When asking for support, they talk about compliance and that "a team" (I don't know how many people) is taking more than 3 hour to validate a transfer on the Blockchain and still not yet done. The fees are high and the service really poor.

Avoid if you want access to your money!

Ive been with wirex for several years with a small amount in an account. When i wanted to exchange or withdraw the funds, i was informed that i needed to undergo verification(again) due to FCA regulation. Part of this was sending screenshots of othef crypto accounts. I questioned this, as noone should have to give bank details from other accounts to competitors. Despite my continued queries regarding why this was necessary. I just got the same ultimatum - send us the details or we'll continue to lock your account. Finally, when i said i wanted to withdraw all my funds, i was told it would cost £30! I believe that this company is hiding behind the FCA in order to hold on to individuals funds and then charge unnecessary fees. I still have not seen my money and plan to report them to action fraud. You have been warned!

Comisión de inactividad ilegal

¿Cómo es posible que en 3 meses me hallan sustraído con cargo a "comisión de inactividad" más de 10.000 euros en XRP y Xlm? Esa política no puede ser legal. Exijo explicaciones y la vía por la que puedo reclamar legal entera devolución de dicha cantidad. Mantener mis criptomonedas en su plataforma es lo que si compañía fomentaba, y ahora están robando a sus clientes con comisiones abusivas.

Unacceptable Delay: Funds Withheld for Over 7 Months (Case #6086423)

I have been extremely disappointed with my experience. It has now been over seven months since my account was blocked and my funds were withheld. Despite contacting support multiple times and providing the requested information, I have not received any clear guidance on how to recover my money. The lack of communication and transparency is unacceptable, especially considering the seriousness of withholding customer funds.
