I've been a Wine Spies subscriber for at least five years, and overall it has been a very positive experience--a relatively economical and enjoyable way of finding new [red] wines. I can highly recommend the experience to anyone interested in exploring new vineyards and vintages--the Wine Spies are generally excellent, but not flawless, curators.
I want to provide some additional feedback for them--I assume that they read their reviews. They recently introduced a "feature", which is purchase individual bottles from their "vault", without going into too much detail, it's a system that allows a subscriber to purchase a "pot luck" wine from the Wine Spies library---sounds like an interesting idea, right?, but they need to work on their algorithm--I have never purchased anything but red wines from Wine Spies [I only pay attention to Agent Red], and for the first wine that I purchased from their "vault", they sent me a Rosé[!]---someone is not paying attention.
