Wine Spies procures very good wines at very fair price points. Unfortunately, customer service, packaging and shipping has degraded tremendously in the past year. To the point of deterring purchases. Up until a year ago, I recommended WS to my friends & clients... now I am hesitant to do so for fear of poor customer service reflecting back on me.

Love The Wine Spies! I have not been disappointed with a single purchase. Wine descriptions are on point, so I can trust I will like the wine if I am unfamiliar with the winery. The locker option is perfect so I can purchase as wines pop up appealing to me until I have a case that ships for free. Such a fun and great way to keep my 'wine cellar' .. ok, wine rack filled and try new wines.

Always surprised by what Wines Spies will bring me each day! Sometimes it’s a no brainer and just push the buy button and sometimes it takes a bit and I learn a lot. Bottom line is I’ve experienced some of the best and most exciting wines because of Wine Spies and wouldn’t change a thing!
Great prices. Ability to locker purchases until you have accumulated a case for free shipping is a huge plus. Downsides are limited quantities and (for me) a lot of highly rated but unfamilar labels.
Great selection and execution
The Wine Spies is my source for carefully curated wine selections. It really takes the hit-and-miss out of wine buying. I’ve been getting wines from them for over 10 years. This one was for the Random Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon, which I have bought many vintages of. It’s always a deep and yet fruit forward and ready to drink on delivery.
Very fun page that at times has tremendous deals on some very unique wines, often from great winemakers. My only criticism is that it feels like sometimes the selection is a little heavy on hedonistic domestic wines. Would love to see a little more Mendocino reds, and unoaked old world whites, especially from Spain and Italy. For the most part, France is well represented. In general though my experience is very positive and I have recommended Wine Spies to other wine lovers. Cheers

Wine Spies always offers a wide variety of wines on a routine basis. It is easy to order from W.S., store the selections in a "locker" and have the whole locker shipped at once. Prices are always good. Various promotions occur keeping me checking out the W.S. page every day. Have been with them for a few years and expect to stay with them. BG - Michigan

I have been buying from Wine Spies for a while and have had nothing but good experiences with them. Love the Wine Locker program. It gives one time to save wine and build the case with the assortment they like. Once a case is assembled it's free shipping!
Well, to start with, it's the variety of wine (love it), so many choices, so many great wines, and reasonably priced. No matter though, one can find their price-point sooner or later. And they've improved their shipping times.
I view the wine spies special each day and most are far better values than I can find on my own. When I need wine or see a wine I want, I order it. This service is fantastic.
