Great wine Great service

Some of the wine I bought was clearly past it's prime. Specifically The Bonny Doon Cigar Volant 2015. My wife and I have been a member of the Bonny Doon wine club since the 90's and know that wine well and so far 2 consecutive bottles have been bad. seems like money wasted. it was undrinkable, and don't like pouring money literally down the drain.

Here's the "good"? This outfit (which apparently is a first cousin to lastbottlewines.com) offers from time to time a great wine that is not available here in the backwards state of Ohio (the 13th & 3rd from Turtle Rock comes to mind). So, that's a plus. Now the flip side. The last order I made with these people took an ASTOUNDING 26 days to arrive on my front porch. I had expected the case of wine to go out the door immediately, as the hot weather was fast approaching. I could've placed the 12 bottles on a dolly and reached northern Ohio quicker than that. E-mails asking about the order go unanswered, because these guys have already got your money. As a result, I wouldn't waste any more of my time if these folks were offering DRC at $25/per. In closing, if you enjoy off-the-beaten path wineries and don't mind waiting weeks and weeks and weeks for your order to arrive, then this is the outfit for you. I'll pass.......
