Great Wine at a Great price

The wines are carefully curated and priced competitively. The 12 bottle locker policy is perfect and once my locker was complete (12 bottles) it was shipped out promptly.

I ordered wine for Christmas gifts on Nov 30th and was billed $455 almost immediately. Then Wine Spies went silent and my requests for tracking to the Support Team were very slow in response and provided no information as to when I would receive the order. I contact the Support Team on four occasions and even asked them not to ship in refrigerated truck in order to help in receipt prior to Christmas. Wine was not delivered until 12/20 at 6:00 PM requiring my wife to stay home all day in order to sign for the delivery. I guess I should have just gone to a local wine store. On a positive note, it was a great price for a bottle of Opus One!

The locker idea is one of the key things that makes Wine Spies a good choice for my wife and me. The wine picks by Wine Spies are great, as they sometimes feature well known wines at a good price, but often (more often, in fact) introduce us to some good and interesting wines that we would not otherwise have known about. However, the real difference-maker is the Locker. The ability to select the wines we want as they appear on the app, but not ship them (for free) until we're ready is great, and it is one of the things that sets Wine Spies apart from similar online wine buying experiences.

I appreciate being able to shop for wines ....and wait for a good/great deal on my favorite wines.... I am able to store in "my locker" and then ship for free... I was kind of looking for my shipment and when I went to Winespies site.... I found that I had not shipped my locker....my mistake

Your selections, picks, and prices are outstanding. The concept of an environmentally controlled "locker" for storing the wine until all 12 spots are filled for no charge, and no charge to ship when all 12 are purchased, is phenomenal, even when only buying 1 bottle every so often. It is difficult for me to keep up with my inventory. I have some great wines to savor that I would normally not buy due to the cost, and I now know about "hidden" wineries and knowing about low production gems. Well done!

I never got the wine. UPS said it was damaged, but I never got a refund or heard from anybody if they were planning to resend it. I was going to use the wines for Christmas presents. So frustrating. I've ordered from them twice before and had no problems. Does anyone have a number where I can talk to a person (human!) that works there?
