For beginners or wine connoisseurs, I couldn't recommend more highly Wine Spies. They truly do bring you some of the best wines available from around the world at great prices. I've had some fantastic burgundies and just got my hands on my first Opus One. The customer service is top notch and the wine descriptions are great, allowing me to purchase wines with confidence that I enjoy. I've filled multiple "lockers" and only have one wine where I feel the description wasn't at all close to the experience with the bottle. The purchase process is simple and I love the locker option so I can build cases and ship for free when they are ready. I've used other online service like Vivino and still do but Wine Spies by far is my favorite. It's even surpassed my local wine shop. I really trust them and am never disappointed. Give them a try...you won't be disappointed.

Very easy to do business with. I had a bad bottle that I purchased a couple of years ago and they refunded the purchase price with almost no questions asked. The winery did not do that. I will not buy any more wine from that winery but I will from Wine Spies!

Love the variety, love the frequency of offerings, love the prices, but I especially love the vault, so you can keep my wine until my case is ready to ship. I have purchased from many on-line wine stores, including WineBuyer, Invino, Wine Express and Last Bottle, but this is my favorite!

You are sending my latest shipment to my son Pierre in Chicago instead of me. I tried to get you to reroute the case of Pinot but you don’t respond and you don’t have a phone. I’m thinking about ending my account with you since you don’t answer me. Too bad, I’ve been a good customer Update3/20: someone finally did get back to me and they did right by me. They rerouted the shipment back to them and sent me another case this time to the correct address. And they were apologetic. It would still be an improvement to customer service if they had a live body to cal particularly in cases such as mine where the wine is shipped to the wrong address and time is of the essence.
