I've been on Wave for two months

I've been on Wave for two months, and they've not really offered much better than my last provider. I've had over 75 outages since I joined (compared to my last provider, where I had one or two before I got some signal boosting equipment), and while the signal started out roughly the same as said provider, it's since got much worse, with my video players not playing, even if they have the bandwidth to do so and streaming services buffering,e ven on a strong connection.

Been with for a 4 years now

Been with WAVE for 4 years now, and like anything you have general teething problems but overall receive a good WiFi service especially with a second router, P2P and many devices on the network. The main point is the service is exceptional from all at Wave, the owner has exceptional knowledge and only a phone call away and the team are very helpful with any technical issues that are expected. They even helped with a camera issue which was very helpful. Highly recommended *****

Waste of space, don’t know how they’re still going.

Had wave for a few years now, was ok at first but past couple of years nothing but problems, if it’s not cutting out it’s unbearably slow, customer service is none existent, complete waste of time, AVOID, use starlink if you need rural broadband.

Gone downhill fast!

Always worked well, up until recently when it keeps dropping out. Recently it won't come back online even after powering off etc as previously recommended. Tried to call but no answer. Sent two emails to support with no response. I have been left with no choice but to disconnect their equipment and buy a mobile router so that we have Internet. I am wondering if they are even still in business! Edit; Their reply is a load of nonsense. I did email in. I hadn't removed cables and installed them incorrectly either. Just to add, my customers regularly contact us out of hours and if they have no heating I'll do everything I can to get it back up and running for them!

Fantastic Service!

We have properties in semi-rural locations where the internet has previously been very poor even when we have paid for a service that has been advertised as all singing all dancing. I found Wave Internet on Google and asked them to give me a quote as well as a couple of other companies. They were quick to respond (Nina Moone) and were very helpful during the whole process. The cost of their service is not offensive, the surveys they arranged happened when they said they would with no inconvenience to myself. As we were very skeptical about paying for another service which may not work, Nina kindly got her MD to give me a call to talk me through our fears. We have now had 2 sites fitted with internet and we are very please with the outcome. We have internet working at a very fast speed at both sites where the occupants are delighted. Thank you to Wave and Nina.

From the first initial contact and site visit to discuss our needs, through to the installation and full setup a 100% professional company. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a proper internet supplier for a non-standard install and not your usual generic "off-the-shelf, one-size-fits-all" companies.

Excellent Company to work with

I would like to highly recommend Wave as the leader rural internet provider . This Company is very attentive to their customers needs. They are very fast and efficient in the way they deal with customer enquiries and any problems that arise are very quickly resolved. The service itself is extremely reliable and fast. What else could anyone wish for ??

A bit of belated review… but a long term user one.

This is perhaps a bit of belated review as I have been with Wave for over 3 years now. I live in the West Pennine Moors and had been a long suffering "customer" of TalkTalk, who were using Openreach infrastructure. The village I am in has aluminium cables, and is about 3 miles from the exchange, so the broadband speed was around 800 kbps. After giving up on any meaningful community engagement with Openreach I decided to go with Wave. I cancelled my account with TalkTalk (now, there's another long story about crap customer service!) and swapped over to Wave. I have not had to call Wave up for any issues at all over the intervening period. The connection has dropped out just once or twice over the 3+ years, but that could be counted on one hand, and has always come back on within a short time frame. Overall I am so pleased that I switched, and now I just forget that I'm not using a cable connection anymore. Amazon Prime works a treat, as does Netflix and the other online catch-up TV services. If you are getting fobbed off by your current broadband provider, then make the switch. Great service from a local company.

Great service

Great service Bespoke connection up and running within one week, from survey to installation Fast, reliable, future proof service (rather then only other option open to me - Zero future proof service of Fibre to Cabinet then 1960's copper wire to house via wooden pole with a phone line that you don't need but still have to pay for!!)

Internet installation in West Pennine Moors

Survey was completed on Tuesday. Fully installed and operational on Saturday - amazing service. The installation was completed very professionally particularly in these trying times (due to Covid 19 restrictions) and our internet has now been transformed – we can use our Amazon Prime at last and my wife is over the moon as she can now facetime family and friends which is particularly pertinent at the moment. Also we no longer have to manage our time on the internet as the Plusnet signal could not manage more than one at a time! Communications spot on and no hanging on the phone waiting for someone to pick up. Pricing packages are very reasonable compared to Satellite competition. A big thankyou to the Wave Team for a wonderful experience.

Fantastic service from Wave internet

Fantastic service from Wave internet. 8 weeks ago they told us they can provide fibre broadband to our rural residents where BT have failed for years. Yesterday they completed the installation for everyone in the area who wanted it. We’ve all got great speeds and unlimited data! Amazing given the present coronavirus difficulties. If you live in Greater Manchester or Lancashire, don’t let BT tell you you can have fibre broadband. You can, just contact Wave Internet.
