Very enjoyable holiday in Montenegro. Beautiful scenery, worthwhile tours and abundance of choice of food in this big hotel.

Everything was arranged and done for you by the Travel Dept. We were all looked after on trip by David and bus driver Trinity.All we had to do was relax and enjoy the experience of Route 66.

Very enjoyable, well organised from start to finish. Second tour with TD. Excellent guide and coach drivers. Only suggestion would be to temper the Florence day. Tried to cover too much ground leaving little time to totally take in surroundings. Hotel was very good, excellent location and friendly staff. Both breakfast and dinner were certainly plentiful! All in all a good taster of Tuscany.

The trip to Norway was everything we hoped for and more. Taking in 2 cities, a fjord cruise , an unforgettable train ride , waterfalls mountains and fantastic scenery. There is always a But ...but this is given to help improve the experience if this is possible. Please when u book the train tickets can u make sure that each traveller has at least one person from the party to sit next to Tickets seem to have been randomly reserved all over the train making it very difficult for tge guide. Within the travellers was a group of 11 who were seemed to think they were more important than the rest of us and were allowed take over the best seats and get the keys to their rooms first. Each traveller should be given equal importance. We booked this trip 9 months in advance why did u put us at the back of the plane. Hotels were first class, food fantastic , guide lovely and drivers very professional

Great experience from start to finish ,our guide picked us up at the airport and helped us settle in ,our guide Kristof was excellent and very knowledgeable and couldn't do enough for the group even on his day off he let some of us tag along with him to see more sights ,travel department take the hassle out of booking trips it's all done for you you just get on the bus in the morning have your trips planned our and dropped back to hotel at the end of your day .

This excellent trip was from beginning to end. Fantastic day trips great hotel, serving great food, super staff and an excellent tour guide.

From booking through to holiday the convenience professionalism and friendly supportive staff made this holiday complete.

I think our guide Dimitra made our experience so good. She was friendly, fun and has a huge archaeological and historical knowledge of Greece which she could impart to us without being overwhelming! Loved it !!!

Very well organised. Good value. Interesting balance of activities. I gave 4 stars because the dining room in The Black Tulip was very cramped. The food was very good but hot food wasn’t warm. The food in Hotel Gelmirez wasn’t appetising at all apart from the pastries and fresh fruit which were good.

Guides were excellent. Organisation of connections and transport was excellent. Tours were very interesting.

A good guide.She understood that on long days information is important but so is rest. She was professional and understood what the group needed. She catered for the age profile on the trip. I have experienced guides on previous trips given information overload and it was not helpful.

We as a family really enjoyed our trip to Tuscany, all trips were fab, guide Claudia was great, nothing a bother to her, really knowledgeable in everything. Hotel was great, old but with charm, spotless clean, rooms cleaned every day,food lovely, we paid for extra trip, Tuscany farmhouse, such a feed, plenty off wine too, also the opera in Montecatini spa, brilliant holiday all round, Travel Department holidays are well worth every penny.

Our hotel in Munich was nice, but the bar was closed because the barman was on holiday. There was nowhere for our group to socialise and get to know each other. There also wasn't really anywhere locally to go at night. The tours were very good. In Straßburg, the hotel was good, as were the tours. We were not told about the light show at the Cathedral each night, nor about the brass band which only performs on Monday nights. We would have liked to be made aware of this. All the guides were very knowledgeable. A very good holiday overall

Just back from DUBROVNIK with the Travel Department. I have travelled with them before and was very satisfied. This holiday, in September 2024, was disappointing. The booking, Travel, Guide and transfers were all good. It was the hotel Sunny Club, Valamer, that disappointed us. The staff, with the exception of one girl at reception, are , unsmiling, grumpy and not in any way welcoming. The hotel is too far out of the city. There is a public bus, which takes 15 minutes to get to the City walls. Its very crowded. Graded a 3 Star, we would not agree. Our room was very small,and smelled. We were given a room that was effectively at basement level,which was in the dark at all times. The bathroom was seriously in need of a refurbishment, and was not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. It had a high, half bath with a shower in it and was incredibly awkward to access. The housekeeping was poor, not one surface in our room was wiped during our stay. Luckily I had cleaning wipes. The buffet food was hit and miss. There was no water available at dinner. You had to buy bottled water. There was no tea or coffee either and you had to buy that as well. There are no comfortable chairs in this hotel. All plastic. There was no kettle in the bedroom. The tours were good and our guide Enis , very knowledgeable. The pool area is lovely, with a great view, and the poolside food is good. Definitely not the usual standard of hotel though, that I have come to expect from Travel Department.

The Travel Department are a truly professional company. I've travelled several times with them and have never been disappointed. Their tours are great value and their guides are very well informed. Looking forward to another outing with them.

The lovely welcome we got, our tour operator was excellent. Montenegro was fantastic. Hotel excellent. This is our fourth time traveling with you and looking forward to traveling again next year.

This was a very well organised trip. There were a lot of logistics involved as there was a lot of moving around and it all worked out like clockwork. Check in at hotels was very efficient. All of the hotels were of an excellent standard and all travel arrangements worked very well. The holiday itself was really lovely and the travel guide was very well organised.

It was a great holiday with lots of places to see. Hotels were outstanding. Can I make z suggestion for the food. Is it possible to have some European food as well. We were on the go all thd time. It might be an idea to have one half day tour as this would give people time to relax . Our guide was marvellous and answered any questions when asked. I would recommend this holiday to my friends
