A well organised trip and good hotel accommodation. 3 'free' days however for a 7 day escorted touring holiday are too many.

Everything about the holiday was excellent.

The travel department arrange everything so well, from the first step to the last. The guides they arrange are very good at their job and make sure everyone is ok and that they understand what is asked of them. The hotels they choose are really good. If you want a holiday where you just turn up and someone else organises all the trips, then the Travel department are for you. I highly recommend them. I have been a few times over the years and never had any problems.

Very good boat, great food, very good tours. A special mention for the Travel Dept tour guide, Michela, who was excellent.

Solo trip. Had an amazing time thanks mostly to an amazing guide, Anurag Misra. He was kind, funny, full of information and great stories. We became a family of solo travellers. Anurag showed us the wonders of India and we came to share his love and passion for his country. It was a wonderful place and time and new friends were made.

Good trip to Malta& Gozo. Enjoyed it very much. As we arrived late it would have been nice to have the first day free. In fact nice to have trips on alternate days...just a thought! It's a wonderful place to visit.

This was my first adventure with Travel Department. I am pleasantly surprised and very satisfied. My first experience was great.

An incredible guide Anurag Misra. So informative about his beloved country India. It's history, family life, traditions, he answered all our questions. A very patient, caring man

Traveled with this company many times and I think that says it all. If it wasn't so easy to deal with good value and excellent service I dont think I would be such a loyal customer. Takes a lot of stress out of planning a holiday and the real bonus is you get to meet so many lovely people.

Very well organised trip to Lake Garda, Verona and Venice. Special praise and thanks to our guide Annalisa, who was fantastic! The loveliest person who went out of Her way to help in every way. We were very lucky with the weather too, only one wet last day which was still enjoyable on a wine tasting trip in the alps.

Good guide, probably best Travel Department guide we've ever had. Good programme, good hotel and comfortable coach with food driver.

We really enjoyed our trip to Turkey. The guide Meltam was brilliant knowledgeable and good fun. Everything was great hotels, food, bus and driver. Found Turkey more expensive than we thought for drinks and food. But was great experience.

Wonderful Trip. Made extra special by Cinzia our tour guide. Wonderful trips, very well organised. Transport to the areas was top class and always on time. The Ascot Hotel staff were great with amazing breakfasts! The group on tour with us were lovely. Can't complain ..well worth every penny. Weather was amazing for October! Would definitely recommend. And will travel again with The Travel Department. Thank you 😊

This is our fourth time using The Travel Department and once again we weren't disappointed! Our guide Dada was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and the hotel and facilities was exceptional! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Montenegro and can't wait to book our next holiday.

Just back from Puglia with TD. Hotel monte sarago was very nice and 5 mns walk to old town. Unfortunately swimming pool has not reopened since covid. Our tour guide Alessandra (Alex) was brilliant- she was with us day and night and gave up her free time to bring us to beautiful places not on the itinerary.TD is lucky to have her . Would highly recommend this trip. Lots of walking and steps involved.

The travelling arrangements went very smoothly, knowagble guide and punctual coach driver. The only gripe I would have is that the tour of Palermo stated at 8.30am after we arrived at 2.am and the tour contained many church visits and we were all tired. It's only minor and Travel Dept has to work with the airline's schedule

Just back from an amazing Solo holiday to South Africa. Amazing hotels, food. Had a fantastic time, small group just 9, great bunch of ladies, the South African people are so friendly welcoming. Our guide Angie was wonderful. The 2 road trips are long, the scenery and the wonderful hotels at each destination made it all worth it!

We enjoyed a mist wonderful holiday in Vietnam! Everything exceeded expectations.. each hotel was excellent, each tour was so interesting and most of all our guide Jimmy Chung was so efficient, friendly and fun! Thankyou!

Holiday experience was good overall. However, the advance planning and timetabling wasn't up to standard. The first and last days involved stamina-sapping air and coach travel, clearly not suited to the age range of the participants.

Just back from Classic Tuscany trip with TD as always was very pleased overall with service. however would warn that the food in the Hotel Michangelo was way below acceptable. Breakfast was good but evening meals were very poor, a lot of fellow travellers ate out most evenings. The first night was good but went rapidly downhill, our tour guide addressed it with the hotel and on last night meal was better. Disappointing food and one night the hotel bar had run out of a lot of basic spirits ... we were told it was a delayed order. Also no tea/coffee facilities in room. Other than the food, the hotel a little dated but was clean, staff were lovely but food let them down, also could be very noisy as you could hear from the rooms beside you ... toilets flushing, showers going, drawers being opened and closed (that was from a good few people not just that i had noisy people in room beside me) trips were great and guide Tabatha was lovely lady and very helpful.
