Excellent trip & thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish. Superbly organised with everything rolling along without issue day by day. Guided by an extremely organised & personable guide in Chung (Jimmy) who bonded excellently with the group & shared his knowledge & more over the entire trip.

I really enjoyed this break/ country was unbelievable I realy enjoyed the tour guide Jack realy looked after all of us he was exceptional brilliant at his job very knowledgeable very helpful an asset to his company & country

I think our guide was just brilliant. He was on the ball. Knowledge was unbelievable . Did not matter where we talked about. Knows Ireland better than we do. Nothing was a bother to him. Brilliant .

Just back from an amazing trip with the Travel Dept. 'Highlights of Vietnam, including Cambodia Extension.' It was simply a fantastic experience. From the quality of the hotels to the quality & quantity of food to the daily excursions by kayak, scooter, boat, coach, and plane, this deep dive into this magnificent country and its wonderfully bubbly, warm, and friendly people was such a pleasure. All this was enhanced by our fantastic guide, Chung (Jimmy). We met him on the first day as our guide, and we headed home when our trip was over, leaving a friend behind. A brilliant guy who took unbelievable care of us and made sure that we had the best experience. The hotel/resort that we stayed in in Cambodia stole the show. One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in and we've stayed in many. This is our 4th adventure with the Travel Department and yet again it gets 10/10. If you are considering this trip, stop considering and just book it. You wont regret it. Mark & Jennifer

Our recent trip to Berlin with The Travel Department was absolutely flawless Our guide Isabella met us in arrivals and remained with us and available for us throughout our holiday and accompanied us back to departures making sure everyone was ok at check in bag drop etc Isabella was so helpful and knowledgeable of the area and gave us so much information during our trip We would highly recommend The Travel Department to anyone looking for a hassle free relaxing holiday 😎

Just back from a wonderful 2 weeks in Vietnam with the travel department. The name of the tour was Highlights of Vietnam and we were very privileged to experience those Highlights from North to South. Every day delivered fantastic and sometimes heart wrenching insights into this beautiful country. Vietnamese people are without doubt the most gentle, kind and smiling nation that I have ever met. Hotel and food quality were excellent from landing in Hanoi to our last night in Can Tho. It was great fun and very relaxing to travel with like minded people. However the icing on the cake was our superb guide, Chung(Jimmy) . He was a fountain of knowledge on Vietnamese history and culture, had lots of wonderful stories, was great fun and took the best care of the group. He is a Vietnamese treasure.

We travelled to Vietnam with the Travel Department recently and it was fantastic. We would highly recommend. The hotels, food and excursions were of a high standard. It was a busy itinerary, but worth it and we had time for down time too. Our guide Chung (Jimmy) really made the trip for us, he went over and beyond for us. He had a vast range of knowledge which he shared with us about the history and culture of Vietnam. He made the trip fun and interesting and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip because of this. We would definitely use the Travel Department again, this trip has really set the bar high and hopefully our next guide will be like Chung (Jimmy).

Another amazing trip with travel department. From the time of booking through to being waved off after check in on return flight, every trip has been stress free and enjoyable. This trip was to Puglia in Italy and what an amazing guide Alexandra is, she goes above and beyond to help everyone, nothing is ever a bother to her. She is so knowledgeable about each trip, she was definitely the best guide yet.

Very nice guide and very nice fellow guests. Only drawback was filling in forms for food and drink, particularly on the first evening after a long journey. Too much like an exam!

Excellent organisation. I always felt relaxed through out our trip. Our guide, Lara was excellent, always on time, always helpful very informative. The holiday delivered exactly what was advertised.

No hidden costs Entrance fees, dinner and breakfast was included in the cost. Only lunch and spending money needed. The schedule was clear and we visited all the places. Water (which was badly needed) was provided regularly. Could not fault the trip in any way. Only suggestion would be a little rest time, but then we would not of got to view any many wonderful places.

A perfect balance of free time and guided tours with our wonderful guide Carlotta who was so knowledgeable, helpful and approachable. A genuine love of her job shone through. Hotel in a beautiful location, fifteen minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Beautiful neighbourhood shops and restaurants.

The accommodation, the food and everything was first class. The guide was extremely helpful and friendly. Overall the experience was relaxing and enjoyable.

Excellent trip with Travel Department. Great Hotel and Staff. Martin our guide was great and also our coach driver. Very good tours with everything organised for us. A lovely group of people that made the trip so memorable . I would definitely do another trip with The Travel Department.

We have travelled to many places since 2016 with the Travel Department because they take away the pressure of having to sort out travel and places to visit and we like an organised trip with like minded people. Especially to far away places. The only downside to some long haul is not having a day off. Too many early mornings can wreck and body.

I have just taken my first holiday to Egypt as a solo with the travel department. I was a bit apprehensive, but right from the start everyone welcomed me into the group. The hotels were great and the trip on the boat down the Nile was wonderful. The trips to see the museums,the temples and of course the pyramids were amazing.The icing on the cake was our guide . He started off by greeting us in Irish which really pleased some of the group,he was very knowledgeable about his country and when taking us around the museums and temples,he had a way of telling us about the artifacts without loosing our attention. When we were 9n relaxing day he would join us and we had good laughs playing cards or just chilling. Our guides name was Emad Fathy 'Dodi'to his friends and I think that we all became his friend.

What a wonderful holiday. I had the best time ever with fabulous company and craic.The hotel staff added to the the enjoyment nothing was too much trouble.The tours were interesting and informative highlighting the stunning beauty of Lake Garda,Venice and Verona. I would recommend the optional tour of the Dolomites the trip was a fantastic experience.

My first time using travel department, if I tried I could not find any issues with the lake Garda trip 10/10
