Absolute sharks on the letting side. They really don't care about the tenants or the community around the property they let. They will think nothing about putting bad tenants in a property which impacts the rest of the street. The so called helpline you get passed over to the attitude is horrendous and so rude. This is a money grabbing company with no shame.
I use them to manage my property for renting.
Poor service. Tenants complain that it takes weeks to get a response. I don't receive communication, sometimes for 6 months on urgent matters.
Neighbors file complaints about the property and Townends don't resolve issues which leaves everyone unhappy.
Avoid this company.
Awful estate agents. Avoid at all costs. Lied from the start, were incompetent throughout and never got the job done. The initial sales guy was useless, and so were all his colleagues.
Part way through they were taken over by another company and no-one told me. Despite me telling them to leave me alone I still get regular calls from them harassing me. Next time I will put a restraining order on the company
Absolute incompetents, did not fix central heating for 1 month and they lied in the contract, and a long etc. Horrible experience, took the case to the Courts of Law and won it. They made absolute fools of themselves, embarrassing. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Absolutely awful and completely incompetent. The first and last time I’ve used them. I booked to view to properties in one afternoon with them. They failed to tell me that one property was already of the market and with the other, they failed to book the viewing with the landlord so we couldn’t get in to see the place. The agent looked about 12 and had no personable skills. How the heck are these guys in business??!!
Very poor at communicating and keeping the client informed. Their team is so forgetful. You leave a message with a colleague and they either forget to tell the required person to contact you back, or the person you want to speak to forgets to call back. They seem to love sending duplicate emails.
They're not very good at following instructions. I requested that they inform me and the tenants when a flat viewing is going to take place, and the fail to comply. Shambles.
