I will also be submitting a complaint with the BBB, as this is not an accredited BBB business, and the deceptive practices they are pulling, are flat out deceptive, misleading, and not in the consumers best interest. A tree, plant, shrub, are expensive, and when you live in specific zones, most reputable nurseries, will not ship to a zone during winter. I live in zone 7, and although, weather conditions can change, I found myself in this dilemma with this company. I order 3 trees on 11/20/25, and the weather changed drastically, and so I notified this company on 11/21/25, that I wanted the trees sent in Spring, not wanting to take the chance of losing them. I was not contacted back until 11/24/25 by Rave in customer service, that my options were this: 1. They couldnt pull-back the order, so just refuse them, and have them returned. 2. Or accept them. Mind you, the order had not shipped. It did not ship until 11/25/25 at 12:21. It took your company, 3 days to respond, then, you say refuse them. I opted to accept them, because I did not want trees to die. Also, knowing full well they could have pulled the order back, I believe was untruthful based on what UPS said. They were in a truck back east for 4 days in brutal temps. A total of 8 days all together, hitting, below 10 in spots. It is winter here, Tree Center you cant pull an order back because its the right thing to do, nope, because, they don't opt to do the right thing. I get the trees 12/2/25, and there are no warming blanket/cloth, in the box, the buckets they are in are smashed, dirt is everywhere, and they are completely frozen. This is why I asked a day after I placed the order to hold it, but no, you were lazy, and didn't want to do the right thing. I take pictures and contact them immediately, and yes, I am dealing with Kallie, the same person another person mentions in their review. Kallie asks for pictures, then she wants a scratch test of the bark, which I provide, however this could have been avoided if you had pulled the order back. The whole point is we wouldn’t be in this situation in the first place because they don’t want to do the right thing. The trees are still alive, however, there is no accountability for the lack of warming cloth, the trees are mangled, no leaves, frozen. Is that what I signed up for? No, Kallie, it isn't, you are responsible for it, because customers like me, now will not buy from you anymore, because you say in your email and warranty, if the tree is not planted in 30 days of receiving, it doesnt matter that you bought a warranty, because, The Tree Center, wont pay the claim. A warranty is useless, tell me, Kallie, how do you plant a tree in frozen ground in the middle of winter Kallie? You can’t, and if you were real experts about trees and other things of that nature that you sell, you would understand that you can’t do that nor does the USDA recommend that. Your warranty is a fraud. But like I said in my email, I will file the complaints with all the proper agencies against your company, and should the trees in the ground that I bought from your company die you will in fact, reimburse them or you will be dealing with a civil action. What you’re trying to do here is criminal, unethical, and flat out gross. I will not be buying from you again. I will not recommend people to you and I hope that this review is viewed by anybody and everybody that considers buying from you. Terrible service, terrible, and your warranty, a joke!
