Ive had a car loan with them since January 25, as the payment date didn't coincide with my salary I contacted them and arranged to change date to the 1st of each month, since then despite 2 payments being made on the 1st I've received emails, texts and letters, today my credit score has dropped 41 points, this is a massive impact on my credit score which has always been good with no missed payments. Ive contacted them by phone 4 times in August to resolve, an official complaint has been raised, however, it takes them 8 weeks to resolve. I am absolutely furious that due to their error at how incompetent and unprofessional they are to sort their error out. At the start of the car loan I was not given the opportunity to chose a payment date, I've since found out that you can chose within 45 days of loan start. How can something as simple as moving a DD date cause me so much stress and have such an impact on my credit history. Avoid this company as their process and accountability require serious improvement. To date I am still waiting for them to resolve their error.

My son organised car finance on a vehicle but on inspection of the vehicle he declined to proceed with the car and the finance agreement he’s chased and chased for confirmation of the finance agreement cancellation and received nothing, despite it being within the cooling off period. And now they’ve taken the finance payment from his bank account!

Recently set up a car loan through Tandem bank process was easy and straightforward they contacted me on numerous occasions throughout the process to make sure it right and affordable for me can't fault them
Really easy process phoned u car finance approved straight away drove my car home 48 hours later

Being at my age i didn't expect to get a loan, but i did the whole experience was great from being to end, the person who dealt with my application (Hamza) was so patient with at no time did i feel under any pressure to put my name to any contract. All in all a very good friendly experience. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a loan.

Yet another 1 start review because i can't mark them any lower.... When the BoE increases the rates, Tandem increase the rates, and then some.... When the BoE reduce the rates, Tandem do sweet FA! I email them every single time the BoE drops the rates, and not once have they ever said, yes, you will receive a letter soon with a reduction in payment. Is this even legal?! Do they not have to comply with BoE rates, on top of their own crappy APR as well... 2018 I had to embark on a contract with this company (who have changed their name twice in that short time period). When they were 1st Stop, they were actually quite decent to deal with, then both company names after that, couldn't give a flying toss about their customers... AVOID AT ALL COSTS - I DON'T CARE HOW DESPERATE YOU THINK YOU ARE, FIND ANOTHER WAY!

AWFUL Just avoid - get a loan from the bank and not this shambles. They don't even reply and don't care about customer service

We took out A Loan with British Gas & provided by Tandem Bank who Installed New Combi Worcester Greenstar 8000 Life in August 2022, we decided to pay monthly for 3 years first payment 1st September 2022, three years has passed quickly so now fully paid £3700, The boiler has been Excellent with no problems and that we have it serviced annually by British Gas.
I recently reviewed all outgoings and decided that clearing outstanding debts as a priority, tandem was one. Getting them to communicate appropriately with an outstanding amount has proven to be a challenge, ive emailed, rang and emailed the complaints department only to recieve a letter saying I owe money. I know that genius however I keep asking for an outstanding bales and so far nothing. I will have to go to the Ombudsman. This is completely unprofessional. Update, im told im not in arrears but keep receiving messages, still not had a outstanding amount, their own complaints department say they can't stop demand for payment though they day im not in any arrears, and never have been. I still am no closer to resolve this. I have 8wks to wait before I can pass this to the Ombudsman. Tandem, sort it out. Still receiving text messages and automated calls. I consider this harassment as not only have I passed this to their complaints department. ALL I WANT TO DO IS PAY ANY OUTSTANDING BILL, IS THIS CLEAR ENOUGH TANDEM, ive now changed this for my experience to a one star Trustpilot, this is a blatant attempt to silence my experience. They have the details and I've placed their name and department in the additional information request. Also to update is that I recieved an email from this complaint department employee and it start with " good morning Stu". That's not my name, what bank does this....none.
Person I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and gave me a lot more of an understanding of how things work
