Obwohl ich mein Talkpalkonto gelöscht habe, haben sie trotzdem den Betrag für das Premium-Abo abgebucht. Jetzt habe ich für das Premium-Abo bezahlt, das ich nicht nutzen kann. Ich war nur auf der Website registriert und hatte keine App. Auf der Website steht, dass das Löschen des Kontos automatisch das Abo beendet. Dies ist jedoch nicht der Fall. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich eine Antwort vom Kundenservice bekommen werde. Allerdings werde ich meine Debitkarte blockieren.

I’m trying the free version, it seems quite good but 5 minutes is not much thinking time to answer the questions in a conversational way. I think this could be a useful tool for learning but a proper free try out of all the features, without having to input payment details, would be a good way to convince me to go premium. If its good, I’ll buy it! (Would you buy a car if they didn’t let you properly try it before you paid? Me neither!).

Deceptive Trial and Poor Customer Service – Beware
I signed up for Talkpal AI’s trial and realized within a few days it wasn’t the right fit. I immediately searched for a way to cancel—nothing intuitive or accessible was available, so I contacted them by email on April 13, 2025, requesting cancellation. Three days later, they finally replied, which is unacceptable for an AI-driven company that touts efficiency. I reiterated in writing that I wanted to cancel and requested a refund since I had contacted them within what should be a valid trial period. Instead of honoring my timely request, they dragged out the process and told me a week later that I needed to cancel online (even though I had already asked them to cancel via email). I followed through and canceled online. Then, when I disputed the charge with American Express, their legal team twisted the story, claiming I hadn’t canceled in the “proper timeframe.” This is a textbook example of deceptive business practices: unclear cancellation paths, delayed responses, and fine-print technicalities used against paying customers. For a company that leverages AI, they sure rely a lot on slow human handling when it suits their interests. Avoid Talkpal AI. Companies that make it hard to cancel are not confident in the value of their product—they just want your money.

1st time experience with AI application and even the basic plan offers an interactive conversation focused on user interests and preferences and it gives suggestions to improve vocabulary and write in a clear and appropriate way if needed. Good option for beginners.

Questi errori non l'ho ancora riscontrati in Talkpal. molto utile la correzione puntuale degli errori. ritengo che potrebbe essere utile dare la possibilità di ripetere la risposte alle domande soprattutto quando la pronuncia del discente non è perfetta, così da aumentare la capacità di pronuncia.
