Noise Pollution Violates UK Laws

Their new notification policy is a nightmare. I've been with them over a year. Suddenly when they take payment they text notifications overnight eg almost 1am or 7am when everyone is sleeping. Most people keep their phones open overnight eg for emergencies. Nothing gives them the right to wake us up. Email confirmations. Don't text!! I told them last month they had woken me up. I was fuming. They assured me they would turn off notifications. They did not. This month they texted me at 12.40AM!! This is highly unethical and violates UK noise pollution laws. Businesses cannot contact consumers outside reasonable business hours. This means 8am to 11pm.

Adam's support was great

I wish to profusely thank Talk Home staffer Mr Adam who provied excellent support through 'Chat' function on 5 July 2025. This Chat I tried after repeated failing to get anyone, even worse disconnection while trying to speak with Talk Home Mobile team. so their phone does not work but luckily chat worked and more luckily Mr Adam was fantastic. Thank you dear Adam

Great Service

Have had several Talk Home SIMs over the past year or so and got nothing but good to say. Customer Support is always helpful and quick via online chat. Web site is simple to use when sorting out your account or doing port in/outs. Would 100% recommend them to all.

Adam at Talk Home helped out yet again…

Adam at Talk Home helped out yet again with a PAC related issue as a result of transferring my old number to Talk Home. This guy is a true "trouble shooter" and always only too pleased to help. Talk Home have done very well in recruiting Adam as he is amazing.

Worst mobile network i’ve ever…

Worst mobile network i’ve ever discovered. My boyfriend has a SIM but was given the phone by Universal Credit but was unaware he had to pay monthly for the SIM. He’s hit a very low point and has been homeless for the past 2years so he needs his phone to receive and make calls to his therapist as well as his psychiatrist. Oh might i add he has very severe mental health issues and the man on the line had the worst f** attitude with zero empathy for my boyfriends situation. F** Sh**ty customer service providers. DONT USE TALK HOME THEY ARE SELFISH PEOPLE WHO DONT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE WHO ARE MENTALLY UNSTABLE AND LESS FORTUNATE I HOPE YOU HAVE THE WORST DAY IN HUMAN POSSIBLY.

Cheap but unreliable for me

Edit: Since then me and my partner had problem and had to leave, too long to ring, bad reception but the worse was the bundle not renewing despite using different banks AMEX and Monzo. Had to beg for them to fix the mistakes but they can't properly renew living you without no data call or text and have to beg every time to the customer service. Won't bother again. Original review: I switched to them because they had a great offer 1p per month for 3 months who would want to pass that! I moved 2 SIMs in our household. What's great: * The transfer was made on time (very easy to do through the app). * Competitive offering. * Piggybacking on EE, meant to be one of UK best network. * Works well outside (in my area in London I still think Vodafone was better but EE is still great, far better than Three or O2). What's terrible: * To ring someone takes us 10, 15 sometimes 30 sec before it starts ringing even outside with 5 bars of reception yikes. * No VoLTE so when you call your 5G or 4G drop. * No WiFi calling which I check on our phones setting means for us in a basement flat 0 reception 40% of the time. We missed many of important calls like GPs. It is cheap but could be better. I now miss my previous provider Lebara which also had very cheap tariffs and offers but are more reliable with WiFi Calling and VoLTE. I don't think I will stay after the 3 months except if by then they have at least WiFi calling which is necessary for people with patchy signal.

Payment taken but no service

My payment has been taken for my second month but my phone has no active plan/no credit. I was on hold to customer services for around 15 minutes and I was cut off, nobody answered

Not recommended at all!!

Not recommended at all!!! Signed up during Christmas and it's terrible. I diverted my calls and couldn't remove the call diversion. I contacted support that is available on my chat, but they couldn't remove the diversion and asked me to check my phone which is completely new. I cancelled today and the same agent was lying to me about cancelling charges. When I told him that he said he'd get in touch with management to make sure I got charged. As I was on my account , I could see the agent was lying, I cancelled my account for free. It's cheap because it's horrible.

Corrections to SIM wrapper needed to avoid people feeling conned

Looked for an EE virtual service online for a 30Gb data bundle, found Talk Home... ordered SIM, arrived today..... downloaded app and topped up via PAYPAL as per info with the SIM.... NO DATA packages available in the App????? Contacted customer services to be told that Talk Home SIM and Talk Home App are two completely different services.... WTAF??? Royally ripped off Edit: I asked them to move the balance to the company that could supply data, or I would start a chargeback... they did this... added 2 stars for resolution, but the SIM wrapper needs to be changed...

Awful; you get what you pay for...

Awful experience so far. As someone else alluded to, you get what you pay for. My port did not happen on the date they said, I then had to chase up and they then stated I never supplied the PAC code (which I had, so effectively they were saying I was lying). Then the port did not go smoothly as my new number (instead of old one I ported) was showing when contacting people not stored in my address book. Finally, my mobile data has not worked at all for the past two days. Really p*ss poor. Thankfully I'm on a 1p for the first two months SIM only deal and will port again to a reliable supplier. Once bitten, twice shy!

Abysmal service

Abysmal service. Transferred to 12 month sim plan and brought my number with me. No one can ring me, I cannot ring out. My phone tells me I have full service but I cannot browse websites on 4g and 5G. They tell me I have used all my data (in 3 days) but cannot see me on their network. They say my sim is not connected. I have used their chat facilities so many times in the last 2 weeks but problem is not resolved. I am left with a contract I cannot use and a company that simply won’t help.
