We recently bought in Altrincham through Swithenbanks and I can't recommend them enough. Elliot kept us up to date throughout and really made the whole process much easier than expected! He was also there on move-in day with a bottle of Bollinger which went down rather nicely! A great company, great staff, we will not use anyone else in the future.

Many agents promise, very few deliver. James did both. Without going into too much detail, James worked tirelessly to get our deal over the line in a very short time frame and over the holiday period. He delivered an outcome that helped all parties achieve their desired objectives, and on many occasions, was quick thinking and creative, as well as being prepared to do what it takes. I would recommend James fully and would definitely work with him again. Many thanks.

I first met James when helping my daughter as a buyer and was very impressed with his diligence on the job he did for his client the seller while also keeping close to the solicitors for both sides and assisting with issues arising on the purchase to bring this to a successful conclusion. So, he was my obvious choice some months later selling my own property. Although this was outside his normal geographical area, he was very responsive, making several visits in connection with the marketing to perfect the video and brochure and for the viewing days and follow up visits with the interested parties. He is extremely hard working, always accessible to discuss and progress matters including on days and at times when most agents would not be contactable, nothing was too much to ask and James was very willing to provide extra help as he did on both our purchase and sale in connection with the physical logistics of the move. For reasons outside anyone’s control we went to market just before the most turbulent period in the late summer of 2022, and kept to the marketing plan that generated lots of interest over two viewing days and a very good and successful outcome given the very difficult market conditions, with exchange on a high value property within three months of marketing and completion shortly after. As often happens, one of the solicitors involved needed a lot of chasing and follow up, coming up with last minute points that should have been raised much earlier. James kept close to them and helped steer matters to a successful conclusion. I can thoroughly recommend James – he is definitely different and miles ahead of any other agent I have ever dealt with

We recently purchased a property in Altrincham through Swithenbank estate agents. From the very first phone call when we enquired on the property we were shocked at the attention to detail the staff showed us - within five minutes of the initial call we had a professional walk-through video of the property in question sent to us via WhatsApp and full breakdown of the open day process that we had booked a place on. We ended up paying a little more than we wanted to, and could only admire the negotiation skills demonstrated by James - we certainly wish the agent who sold our home could’ve done the same for us! James gave us updates the whole way through the process and was there with a bottle of Bollinger (and the keys!) to welcome us into our new home on completion day! A massive thank you to everyone involved!

I cannot recommend James highly enough for his dedication, reassurance, patience, professionalism, communication and service. We purchased a property advertised through Swithenbank Estate Agents and he was way more helpful than my own estate agents who I sold my property with. The process took around 7 months (due to poor communication from my Estate Agents and Solicitors and no fault of James) and the difference in level of service was night and day! Where my estate agents seemed to lack in care and level of service, James made sure on multiple occasions to go above and beyond to get issues and queries resolved so that we could get the deal over the line just in time. He made himself available and was on hand to answer any queries from ourselves and came back to us with answers swiftly and efficiently.
