SCAM.......let me tell you how it works. First, they gave me a quote of $750. for my wifes Mini, Then to get me on their schedule, they take my credit card.........then they have 2 dates that they want to work with (4/28 and 4/29).....he knows my wife fly's out on 5/1, so Sonic waits till 4/29 to say that they have a truck but it's just late......By 4/30, they are saying that it's just extra busy. later that day, when its too late to get someone else, (by text) he says he has a carrier but it's $2400. I sent my employee to drive it home because I have no appetite for scumbags **Note. I have emails and texts to prove this

I contacted sonic, and spoke with Mateo. I explained the pickup and destination location. He sent me a quote, which I agreed to and signed a contract. On the morning of pickup, I was contacted, and told the trip was challenging, the vehicle could not be picked up on contract date. I was sent a communication stating it would be a couple extra days. On the morning of the second agreed upon pickup date, I requested truck arrival time, and was told they could not ship the vehicle for the contract price or time. The NEW time and price was further out, and the cost was almost doubled. I informed them that they did not fulfill the contract as signed, and consider it null and void. Stay away from this bait and switch company!!!!

Don't use this company. The price of the transport of my car went up 3 times after we signed the contract. They gave the wrong pickup date and the trucker was asking me for money before even dropping my car. They were not honest and really sucked.

This was our 1st time using this kind of service and everything went as planned after the car was picked up. The driver kept me updated on his arrival time in Minnesota and was on time. No issues

Christian charged me a broker fee when i didnt want want the tow in the first place, then refused to refund me. I went through with the service as it was non refundable and then it was a day late. The customer service here is so terrible and unhelpful. Probably the worst tow broker company you can work with, just work straight with the tow driver and youll get better rates

Car was delivered on time. With no issues.

The ease of operation, friendliness

My experience with Sonic Auto Transport was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I hired them to ship a vehicle I purchased online to another state, and the process was filled with deception and a complete lack of communication. The broker originally quoted me $850 total for the transport, stating that $100 of that would be their commission and the rest would go to the driver. However, after securing a driver, the broker by the name of Derrick who I had to unfortunately assigned to told me the best they could find was a $1,350 transport. He said he would charge my card $500 once the vehicle was picked up, with the remaining balance to be paid to the driver upon delivery via cash, Zelle, or money order. Once the vehicle was picked up, they charged my card as promised — but after that, the broker basically disappeared. I received no clear updates, no delivery ETA, and had to keep calling just to get any information. The vehicle arrived later than agreed, and when it did, the driver (who was excellent and professional) showed me his rate confirmation: Sonic Auto Transport had arranged the shipment for $850 — exactly the amount they initially quoted me, not the $1,350 they later claimed. In the end, the broker misled me and manipulated the deal, pocketing $500 while paying the driver the original quoted rate. I received minimal communication, false information, and a late delivery. I cannot recommend Sonic Auto Transport and would urge others to be extremely cautious when dealing with them. Thanks for the reply but yet again you're intentionally being misleading. The driver did not show me $850 of taxes, fees and insurance. He showed me the rate he was paid for the job. You did not explain to me you were going to up charge me and extra $500 for your brokerage fee. I have the conversations documented in previous emails and texts. Just do a better job at being upfront and honest is all I request

Got a quote from them. Even gave a coupon. So I decided to book with them for my car to be delivered from another state. Conveniently the day we had scheduled for pick up their “driver” that was lined up canceled. But they said luckily for me they had another driver that could do it. Only thing is now the quote is 5 times the original. That’s right 5x!! Avoid this company. Bait and switch. Since they replied. Im adding. Originally quoted $745. They say they don’t guarantee that price. Well it jumped to $2600. You are terrible at your job if you can’t get within a few hundred dollars. That is 100% a scam. You had the driver. The driver agreed to the price. So you lie.

I was given a confirmed price by Harper Jade of $650 to transport my car from Florida to Cape Cod. Less than 24 hours prior to pick up he called me with a new price of $1,350. I did not have time to secure another more reputable company. Sonic Auto Transportation is a dishonest, unethical, duplicitous company and sholud be avoided at all costs. Do NOT do business with this company.

I always use them when shipping my cars. Luke is always quick to reply and find me the best carrier that is cost effective and will make sure my vehicles are handled with care!

Sonic Auto Transportation appears to follow a common practice seen in the auto transport industry. They initially provide a low quote to secure your business, but shortly before the scheduled pickup, the assigned driver cancels. This triggers a wave of calls from other transport companies offering significantly higher prices. Eventually, Sonic returns with a quote that's slightly lower than the others, attempting to appear more competitive. In my case, I was not in a rush to ship my vehicle and was able to negotiate the price. However, I still ended up paying more than the original quote.

They were very good at getting me a good price for shipping from GA to CA which saved me about $300. If I need their service again I will certainly give them a try.
