Avoid the website order from Amazon or do pick up from Kroger

Do not buy flavors or cylinders from the website as shipping is too high. Seems no matter what you order from sodastream.com the shipping is $14.99 which seems to be a rip off. Not even sure how the website stays in business for ordering anything minus the machine as the shipping is free. I order all my flavored syrups from Amazon.com when onsale for $5.99 and for the cylinders I use Sodasense.

GREAT PRODUCT BUT NEEDS SOME IMPROVEMENT FOR THE CUSTOMERS

GREAT PRODUCT, HOWEVER IT DOES NEED TO BE IMPROVED FOR THE CUSTOMERS I love my soda stream. I have not given it a break since I got it. However, soda stream needs to look into H2WOW for flavors. I didn’t think that I would like it as much as bubly, but I love it so much more than ANY OF THE FLAVORS that soda stream has to offer. Having to turn in your co2 canisters by a certain time to get refilled or you get charged for them is very wrong! I have been turning ours in before the due date, but I have to wait for the due date to get my refills. These rules are not a good way to tell your customers how happy you are to have them. Let people keep the empty canisters until they’re ready to pay again to have them refilled. And when soda stream receives the empty canisters, refill them and send them back to that household- don’t make them wait until the due date to be refilled. And when soda stream refills the empty canisters, they should not charge the same price to refill it as they charge for new ones. The refill price should come down in price. I am not saying that they need to refill them for free, but because the canister has already been purchased, the refill price shouldn’t be as much as it is. Soda stream is a wonderful thing to have in the house and I regret not getting it sooner than I did, but when I got my soda stream, I liked it so much that I bought the same one again for my step daughter and her husband along with some flavors. My step daughter and her husband use theirs all the time too. They love theirs just as much as I love ours. But putting a time limit to turn in your canisters and get them refilled and having to wait for the due date if you turn them in early is not right. There are certain things that need to be changed/improved and those are just a couple of them. Having soda stream pay for the shipping and handling on the returns of the canisters, well that is just a very nice and thoughtful thing to do for your customers.

The deposit is a scam

My granddaughter is immunocompromised, so during Covid we purchased 10 extra cylinders so we could reduce the number of times we had to go in stores for exchange. The deposit was $200. Now Covid is over, we took six back for a refund but were only given $1.00 each! Shame.

I ordered 3 replacement cylinders from…

I ordered 3 replacement cylinders from this company and some flavor syrup and I put my address down (which is listed with the post office, DMV, VA and several other places) and when they shipped it out for some reason my address got changed on it and it has been rerouted 3 times and when I called Soda Stream about this issue, I was told they were sending up to management and they gave me a discount code, but still have not received my order and they told me it will be 24 to 48 hours before I will hear back from them. Well 24 to 48 is not good enough if they can’t get on the phone and solve this quicker then that and you should avoid this company at all cost. My order is bouncing around in Jacksonville Florida some where. This is not the first time this has happened to me. If they would use a more reliable way of shipping to you, I would almost stay with this company, but after gettting an email stating that if I did not return the used cylinders in 14 days I would be charged extra for them, well come to find they received the empties, but I still got the nasty email. This is totally unprofessional of the company. STAY AWAY FROM SODA STREAM TAKE IT FROM A TOTAL AND PERMANENT DISABLED VETERAN, THIS IS NOT COMPANY THAT IS RELIABLE.

unclear time limit to use your gas

customer service and products were fine and all but they dont make it clear that the year subscription of gas is literally a year time limit, i only used 2 boxes in a year and when i went to get my last box they said i couldnt have it cause the time limit ran out, even tho i paid for it, so im really bummed out i got robbed of that last box that stuff isnt cheap , might look into alternatives instead now

Bought soda stream a years ago or so

Bought soda stream a years ago or so. Relutant to open the thing b/c thought I woulds be disappointed. Have been using soda stream for a few weeks. And I am ... disappointed. Cannot compare with carbonated water via Badoit, San Pellegrino, et al. Carbonation gone after opening the bottle just 1-2 times.

I emailed SodaStream less than a week ago regarding my power cord on an old machine that was frayed. I received a new one at no charge today. I’m ver happy with my old machine and so glad that I can continue to use it.

Always out of stock

Sodastream has been out of stock on many flavors for at least a couple of months. I keep getting automated replies that they are working hard to get supplies back in stock, and to instead buy at a local retailer. Local retailers have a very limited selection, and never stock most flavors that I like. I can understand retailers being out of stock periodically, but the manufacturer? Why do you offer promotions for Sodastream products if they are not even in stock?

Excellent Customer Service!

I contacted Soda Stream Customer Service because of a problem. Julian assisted me with the issue and he quickly determined what the problem was. It was my error, he quickly and professionally assured me he could take care of the issue. He immediately said he would be sending me a new one to replace this one. I could not have asked for better service and problem solving. Thank you Julian and Soda Stream!

Great price, customer service, and price. They're literally the best, dude!

CO2 shipped to my doorstep at the same price as in-store refills, what's not to love??? I just gotta say that more people will take time to leave a bad review than to leave a good review. I'VE BEEN USING THIS SERVICE FOR 4 YEARS and I'm here to tell you that Soda Sense is the only way to go! I have been a customer of Soda Sense since I found them in 2019. I used to have to go to Bed Bath & Beyond which was really inconvenient, and when covid hit it wasn't even an option anymore. I found Soda Sense and have been IMMENSELY SATISFIED WITH THE EASE OF EXCHANGE, CUSTOMER SERVICE, and PRICE. Boxes come with return labels, so you just leave it for the mailman, and unlike other subscriptions, you only pay when you are ready to send in exchange. That's right, NO MONTHLY FEES, or fees of any other kind, dude! You're only charged for what you use. They process and ship in like 2 days so you NEVER have to go without your bubs! One time a shipment got lost or stolen, so I called them and a new set was on my door in 2 days. I did not wait on hold, I did not have to jump through any hoops, they're just good to their loyal customers. Soda Sense saves me so much time, and yet, refills are the same price as I paid in-store! HOW?! I have turned all my friends onto Soda Sense because it is by far the best way to keep up with that super hip bubbly lifestyle!!

Exchanges NOT convenient…

They stop stocking target stores with blue versions to make you buy more bulk orders online and / or buy one of their newer machines. You don’t have any way to see if a target can support your exchange and so the “convenience” of easy exchanges is a total pain in the backside. Do not recommend.

Sodastream customer service is…Appalling

Sodastream customer service is atrocious! I have waited since 21st December for my delivery. I have written 3 emails that have not been answered, I was left holding on The phone for 38 minutes, I called again and held for 29 minutes until an agent answered who was totally unhelpful and rude. Do not use this company or its products!

1 star is more than they deserve. TERRIBLE customer service

1 star is more than they deserve. Ordered a starter kit on 19 Dec when their website promised delivery before Xmas within 3 to 5 days so 24 Dec latest. It didn't arrive by early on 24 Dec so I checked their website and it said it hadn't even shipped! I emailed them but by 30 Dec they hadn't bothered to reply so I called them only to be told it hadn't shipped and they didn't know when it would, it would just be "as soon as possible". When I asked why they promised pre-Xmas delivery their representative just put the phone down on me. No delivery and no apology. Terrible company. I will now be having to do a credit card charge-back and will never deal with them again.

If you want to buy SodaStream

If you want to buy SodaStream. Don't buy on their website. Mine's hasn't received in 4 weeks. Not sure when will be arriving. I brought it with a better price at London drugs. Contact to the customer service to cancel the online order but they refused it. Disappointed.

It's useless - you won't be able to refill CO2 cylinders

Don't bother buying their products. Once you buy it, you won't be able to refill CO2 cylinders. I've been waiting for 3 weeks now and none of the retailers around me have stock.
