Almost perfect — just a few things holding it back

The AI chatbot has been our biggest win — it handles the majority of initial customer inquiries accurately and naturally. The CRM organization is clean and intuitive. I'd love to see more customization options for the dashboard, and the search functionality could be faster. Minor things in an otherwise excellent product.

Too many features I don't understand

Three stars because it's clearly well-made but I found the learning curve steeper than advertised. I'm not particularly technical and some of the automation setup was confusing. The AI helped with emails which was nice, but I couldn't figure out the chatbot configuration without watching multiple tutorials. Fine once you learn it, but getting there took effort.

The phone system is criminally underrated. Crystal clear calls, automatic recording, AI transcription, and it ties directly into the CRM so every call is logged with context. It's alright but I barely use half the features

I appreciate what Smith is trying to do and I think for the right business, it's probably incredible. But I'm a wedding planner who mainly needed a simple booking system and email reminders. Smith can do that, but getting it set up required way more technical knowledge than I expected. Ended up using only the CRM portion.

Very good CRM, AI needs minor tweaks

Great value proposition. We replaced HubSpot, Twilio, and ActiveCampaign with Smith at a fraction of the combined cost. Feature parity is about 90% there, which is impressive. The AI capabilities more than make up for the small gaps. Definitely recommend for small to mid-size businesses.

Switched from GoHighLevel and the difference is night and day. Smith's interface is cleaner, the AI features are leagues ahead, and the support team actually responds within minutes, not days. My only regret is not switching sooner. This is what a modern business platform should look like.
