My contacts throughout this lengthy process (5 years) for the majority of time was John Lowther and Rebecca Hall. John was the solicitor representing us. I was constantly kept up to date with the process and progress of my clinical negligence claim. At all times I felt he had our best interests at heart. We would discuss every report either for the plaintiff or defendant and he would seek my opinion and challenge the writer if necessary. He always sort my views and that my view was respected. Towards the end I was consulted at every stage of the settlement negotiation process. The outcome was a reasonable settlement slightly less than I had hoped for but more than my legal team expected. At leased we avoided a lengthy and stressful trial.
