I asked my local Estate Agent to recommend a solicitor/conveyancer who they had had positive experiences dealing with and they recommended Simply Conveyancing. I was a little concerned at first as the company was not local but my concerns were quickly alleviated. Kerry Brindley handled the sale of my home and it all went very smoothly. Kerry maintained excellent communication with me throughout the whole process and responded very quickly to any questions or concerns I raised, which gave me confidence that everything was being managed promptly and efficiently. I would most definitely use this team again.

The lawyer kept in contact during the sales process. There were some delays due to other parties, however she worked to ensure things were ready as soon as possible. Issues were resolved quickly where possible.

This is my second review as Simply Conveyancing removed my first one. We have had significant issues purchasing a house and the seller has chosen this company. It has been a simple purchase however we are experiencing delays and stress due to the total lack of communication from the sellers solicitor to ours. Avoid avoid avoid!

Very simple process. Our sale was rather drawn out due to an unresponsive buyer. The solicitor remained focussed at all times and brought the transaction to a swift conclusion once a new buyer was found.

Kamalpreet was excellent from start to finish. Always available to explain any issues we may have had. It was a protracted sale as we had one buyer fall through days before exchange however I could not fault Simply for their professional approach. Excellent service throughout.

Currently buying in England. Freehold property. My solicitor is uncontactable 80% of the time. I've been waiting for 3 weeks for searches that come back that takes 72 hours at the most to come back (checked myself how long it would take if I ordered the search myself) My solicitor is unable commit to any dates whether exchange or completion. It takes weeks to go over a document or confirm a document I mailed was received. At one point I was under the impression the whole company closed shop as I was not able to get through to anyone for 10 days. As you can see from the positive reviews, they seem to be quite good. I used their service after strong recommendations from my friends after they got excellent services. But, when they drop the ball, it's really bad. I'm not aware of an escalation process either. The final straw is that my seller is threatening to pull out given how everything is getting drawn out. I'm about to lose out on my dream home because of my solicitor. I gave 2 stars as their signing on process was actually quite good. Speedy, excellent communications, checks done in a couple of days and they were ready within 2-3 days. ________________________________________________ Update 14/11/24: I got in touch with Ms. Subedar who facilitated things going forward, communication improved slightly but it was a struggle sometimes. Some unnecessary delays occurred on day of exchange that got it pushed back a day or two. by this time, the seller set a deadline after which they would pull out. We managed to meet that deadline and finally completed. if you are considering using their services, you'll have to be aware of what is required at all times. if you are a first time buyer needing lots of advice and guidance you'll have to supplement with outside sources to keep on top of what is required of you (the delay in exchange was because they didn't have my deposit despite me emailing about it for 2-3 days before exchange date asking how can I transfer the money). I'm changing the rating for 2 to 4 given we still completed the sale in around 8-10 weeks time which is quicker than average properties sales I have been told (though it could have been about 1-2 weeks quicker)
