Sakura Mobile is very easy to set up via eSIM which is what I went for. We travelled a fair amount in Japan and I had good coverage everywhere we went. The price was fair (equivalent to about £25 per week for unlimited use). I wasn’t sure how to set up the eSIM at first so I emailed Sakura Mobile help center. They replied within an hour and walked me through the IOS recommended settings. 10/10. Will use again and would highly recommend.
Purchase and Installation, as well as usage in Japan went without problems.
All the processes was easy eve that i had an issue with the data not working because I did something wrong in the process, i contacted them through email and they were super fast and helpful and helped me to fix the issue, thanks for the amazing team and i highly recommend it

Very slow data speeds, unfortunately not really usable. Basic web browsing was challenging. Had to connect to WiFi.
This was an essential item for any overseas trip. The process was easy, fast, and the price was the best I found.
Didn't work. Esim installed successfuly but no network service was available.
Sakura Mobile is a great cost-conscious eSim that gives you enough data for your trip to Japan. The unlimited data plan was good enough to post on socials (IG, FB, etc) and was fast enough for daily navigation. I used sakura mobile in Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka and it was good for those locations. I noticed it was faster in Tokyo than the other locations though.
Good value for money. Unlimited data for a week only £20. Great. Best works with eSIM. Just scan qr code and you done✌️

Easy, quick and simple install. Works flawlessly. Coverage is good throughout the country. The only downside is no possibility of making calls, but I suppose there is a limitation from the lawmakers, so I cannot deduct an, grades for this reason.
Activation of eSim is seamless, just a couple of minutes. Signal is strong wherever i go. I always get Sakura mobile eSim everytime i go to Japan.
