Awesome event. Great course design. Varied terrain - fire roads for transitions up & downhill combined with wooded sections. Well marked out.

Cannock chase half marathon, advertised as the hardest half you’ll ever do, and boy they were right! Expertly ran, friendly and amazing communication from the organiser. I will run this next year!

As always a well organised event with something for everyone who likes to race a mountain bike. There was a great atmosphere in the event village, everyone one was catered for. The food was really good with plenty to choose from, I couldn’t resist a post ride pizza. Matt and his crew know how to put on a bike race.

Everything about this race is great. The organisation & site team are fabulous. The course is hilly and technical but a great test in amazing countryside with some wonderful views. I’ve done this event 6 times now and will definitely be back next year.

2024 Dirty Dozen - Fantastic event, well run, well attended. Great selection of food and drink in the event village. 2024 course was the best yet, full of twisty trails, short sharp hills, and the ditch-of-doom.

Called in the Trentham store on the off chance looking for a pair of trainers to use in the gym. Was given excellent help and advice by Andrew (I have weird feet....). I came away with a very comfortable pair that I now put to good use. Can highly recommend.

My first race, thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Filthy, mind you! Not for the faint hearted, glad my 70m year old Amigo & I did plenty of preparation. He only got to do 2 laps, having been lapped by the folks that should be in the next race up, but hey-ho.

The Cannock Chase Winter Classic 2024 MTB Race was awesome. It was my first ever MTB race. Didn't know what to expect or what I was doing. But the course was spot on and well marshalled. Will be doing as many as I can from now on.

Husband and kids race in the winter classic last weekend and we throughly enjoyed. Kids had a great course and 3 levels you could enter which were definitely not birthing. plus there was a skills challenge the day before for the kids. Great location and able to camp if needed. Will definitely enter again

Great event, very well run and clear signposts with marshalls for guidance! Will definitely be doing one of their events again soon.

Dirty Dozen is proper challenging 12K trail race through Cannock Chase. It is my always my first race of the season as it's a bundle of fun. Great trails through parts if the Chase I've never been. Plus the Ditch of Doom is a bonus! Great organisation, marshalling and plenty of food options at HQ. Recommended if you enjoy trails.

A very honest, brutal, yet incredible 12km trail race. Fantastic route over Cannock Chase with a mix of single and fire tracks. The highlight is the Ditch… of doom. A very good expo at the start finish. Sponsored by Scott there was an opportunity to use a demo pair of trainers for the race. A great race to add to your list.

I love these events they are well organised and really inclusive for everybody from new starters to elite racers. My only observation from completing these events 4 times now is that you start your race and are full gas competing within your category and then slam into the back of the category wave ahead in the first singletrack. This can be intimidating for new starters and annoying for slower riders as leaders try to get through. Would it be possible to consider a different start loop missing out the inevitable bottleneck until the fields spread out and give larger gaps than 1 minute between category starts to avoid the above which mars what is a Superb friendly event championing all that is good about XC MTB

Excellent event at Cannock Chase Sunday 25th February. First MTB race really enjoyed it organisation and facilities were great will be booking on again next year

Cannock Chase Winter Classic - This was a great MTB XC event to start the season. The course was great, taking in some tough climbs, fast descents and technical single track. As always, Run & Ride organise the event well with Marshall’s exactly where required and some great support from the local food & beverage providers. Highly recommended 🙌

Challenging but awesome Run and RIde always put on great events. This did not dissapoint. There were hills, mud, fast sections, hills, more hills and some technical sections. Great work guys. Loved it.
