Exceptional customer service. In particular, RP CS Jennie from the team deserves a special mention. Her dedication to helping customers is second to none! I ran into problems with my phone settings, and she goes above and beyond to ensure that every issue is resolved promptly and efficiently, all while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. She made the experience with Red Pocket more than enjoyable.
A lot of the ol'bait and switch here. I signed up because of the international calling features. Within 2 days they cut that by 3/4, eliminating every foreign friend I wanted from the plan. Then I tried to call someone local, and could hardly understand them the connection was so bad. I figured they'd ignored my initial request to be on the Verizon network, the only functional one here. Then after an hour with customer service they cough up that you're stuck with GSMA if you're using an eSIM. And you can't switch to a physical SIM without going through a whole phone number transfer/account reset rigamarole. Needless to say I'll transfer out instead, but really..
(my rating is one more star than they deserve) My sister is visiting from Europe and I wanted to buy a 30 day RedPocket plan for her. Previously, we had bought these on RedPocket's ebay site, but they are not offering it there now. I tried using their site to order the plan, but when I submitted my credit card information, the order was declined. I knew my credit card had plenty of available credit, but tried another (and another and another) credit card and got the same rejection. I tried using different RedPocket accounts and different mailing addresses and had the same result. Ditto when I tried using different browsers. When I call RedPocket, they told me the rejection was because there were too many attempts that day--rejected for security reasons. I can understand that explanation after the ninth attempt, but not on my first attempt each day. (the multiple attempts were caused by their rejections of my order and my hope of finding the right combination to place that order) I tried the next day and had the same problem. I waited 40+ hours, tried again, and had the same issue. I spent over three hours online or on the phone trying to get this order placed. I finally gave up and went with Verizon's Total Wireless. The transaction took less than 5 minutes. I am super disappointed. My family has been RedPocket customers for years and have been happy with the service, the price, and the great support. If I have a similar problem with my family's account, RedPocket will be losing this family as customers. I can't believe they have any online sales after my experience. One should not have to spend HOURS trying to make a purchase. My time has some value.
Customer care has become worst. You won't get any response from chat bot (it takes several minutes). Even if connects, the customer executives are too busy but if you take little more than a minute, they will disconnect and close the chat, its horrible experience
RP CS Jennie given great service on my port number issue and she understands my problem well and resolved by expediting. Now i am able to get the Redpocket service and ported from old service.
