Leslie was very concise and helpful. Excellent customer service!
What a waste of time! 2 hours trying to activate 2 phones on a CDMA (Verizon) Family Plan. After all the time the best the “Support” team could do was try and get the phones on GSMA (AT&T coverage) within 24 hours because they couldn’t get CDMA to work with our Apple 14 phones. Why? They didn’t have an answer. Don’t normally provide a review but this experience was SO bad it begged for review. There’s a reason the monthly price is this low - Customer Service is that bad.
RP CS Stephen just made my day. I got an iphone 16 pro yesterday (yay me), but I couldn't get the esim set up on my new phone, and my old phone didnt have the convert to esim option as well. I had an other support who recommended me to go back to the apple store and ask them to unlock the phone, but we disconnected because I was really going to do it. However, the new support Stephen here just saved the day, he checked my imei2 number, and instructed clearly on how to get esim on Redpocket, even doubles checks to see if we were still connected during the conversation. Everything went smoothly and now I have esim set up completed on my new phone. Thank you again Stephen, sincerely.
Activated new SIM card. EVERYTHING works. Mobile Hotspot provides WiFi router on the road. Phone Browser can use WiFi to access internet. Calls. Texts. VoLTE. Everything. One thing, to get everything working have to be careful w the APN settings. If you have questions, best way is Chat
I'm editing review only to 3 stars because redpocket they can't change their policy yet. Red pocket offered me a free month to compensate me for cutting off my 'unlimited' data 30 day plans early twice without warning, notice or ability to know or control what excessive means. Im not giving them 5 stars because they know their policy is wrong but can not change it but looking into it. They advertise "unlimited" slow speed data but do not explain or warn you that there is a limit and they will turn off your data service for 'excessive' use if you run out of high speed that no one can tell you what excessive or unlimited mean which needs definition or clearly defined plus should give you warning on use to prevent just cutting off your unlimited data service for the rest of the month you paid for data that forces you to 'top up' and buy overpriced high speed data you are already paying for slow speed which is double charging or buy new monthly plan early because it's cheaper than top up prices. So until they stop double charging people for 'unlimited' data they limit and force you to top up to high speed or have an actual limit to data you can use the 30 day data service not data usage plan then they might get 4 stars. I'm just disappointed they revert to bullish deceiving tactics to compensate for not raising prices is wrong Below is my 1 star review I initially posted: I have been a loyal customer for over 5 years on their $40 22GB high speed data plan but unfortunately could only afford the $30 plan with only 10GB high speed with unlimited slow speed (which I was fine with slow speed) but no where did it imply say or warn me that you are only allowed limited slow speed data and excessive use cuts your data service off completely for the rest of your 30 day phone text and DATA plan and you either have to TOP UP to buy more high speed data you are already paying for or forfeit your 30 day plan and purchase a new plan because it's cheaper than topping up. I couldn't afford $40 plan I usually pay for cuz I like high speed but to not allow me like maybe 500mb a day slow speed data but how can they rip you off and force you to pay twice or more for 30 day service you only got to use 10 days.
Stephen was great, answered my 100s of questions and was very informative and quick with response. A great asset to the company. -Jaffar
