Daniel 5811 - absolutely great bloke, secured me and my dog with concern for safety throughout and good tooling to repair what I couldn't in the emergency bay of the M6. Fend off parking enabled me to feel even safer, and that Dan clearly knew what he was doing. Phoned at 1930 on a Sunday with a tyre blow out, by 2030 I was back on the road on my spare despite not having any of my own tools in a recently purchased second hand vehicle. Embarrassing for me, but wasn't made to feel like the idiot I probably deserved to be by a very professional technician. Also, changing a tyre on the side of the M6 is a dangerous activity, made to feel not dangerous due to Dan's excellent approach to customer safety throughout. Cant recommend the service highly enough.

I'm currently at 29 hours and counting…
I'm currently at 29 hours and counting for a recovery. Reported at 10 AM yesterday and given an estimated arrival time of 11:30-14:30. Kept moving back every couple of hours until it stuck at 17:30-19:30. After numerous calls to customer service, they finally said no one could come until this morning. The estimate of 8:00-11:00 then steadily moved back today (with numerous phone calls from me to customer service where they promised the tow would come today, only to get a vehicle assigned and count down timer going this evening. At 43 minutes it stuck so I called customer services, and, low and behold, the tow truck had cancelled until tomorrow. Unbelievably shocking service and I really wish I was with the AA.

RAC employee worth keeping.
The assistant I received from the RAC patrol employee Shaun ID: 4002. Was outstanding, he did everything possible to mend and fix the problem with my car and I couldn’t ask for more from him. Unfortunately the problem wasn’t fixable at the side of the road so he towed my car to the garage of my choice,after all he did he even offered to go out of his way to give me a lift home. Definitely an employee worth keeping and looking after.

Our patrol rescue Adam 1177 was very polite and Welsh speaking which made me more comfortable as its my 1st language. He was very reassuring. He kept intouch letting me know how long he'd be and arrived within 1/2 hr like he said ... He found the problem with the car, We had someone out few days before , and obviously wasn't fixed . Diolch
