Richard - ID 5009 turned up to within a few seconds of the expected time given by the app. He got straight to work and identified the problem. Very professional and informative. He did not carry the battery i needed, but he got the vehicle started so i could drive to local garage.

RAC response blew me away.
The first time I have had reason to seek road side assistance and it blew me away. The response was very quick from sending the text to It was the technician John’s (1603) arrival. His people skills were fantastic, setting me at ease, looking after my safety, listening to my explanation of events before breakdown and resolving the problem quickly and efficiently, sending me back on my journey with a reassuring smile.

Helpful and reassuring
Because of where we broke down - at the top of a slip road off the M5, we were priorised by the RAC. Tim arrived within about 40 minutes, and kept us informed of his ETA. He was able to diagnose an engine error code problem and run diagnostics to clear it. He then followed us to our destination (a mile or so away as luck would have it). He re-ran the diagnostics‘just in case’ to give us some peace of mind. We were eventually able to get home under our own steam. Tim was very helpful and reassuring. Thanks very much.
