Postoffice has room for improvement based on customer feedback. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and expensive.
Just been to drop off a package at the Post Office in the Horsefair, Kidderminster. And the staff were absolutely vile! So pointlessly rude and unhelpful! We will be taking our custom elsewhere in future. If I could give 0 stars I would. Vile people.
We had a great postman last year, and then he retired, gone to pot since, I have not had any mail for weeks unless it was a parcel, they deliver at random times as well. I often get mail that is intended for someone else! This time I chaised the postman down and gave him the letter back that he had posted through my door. I’m expecting some important stuff as well! Bedford is the town and MK41 is the area
I want to express how wonderfully I was treated at Calhoun Ky post office. I needed a passport and didn’t know how to go about it. Dawn helped me on two different occasions. Dawn was very patient and helped me to get documents I needed as I didn’t know how to use the internet very well. She was very informative, wrote down contact numbers for me. Helped me to understand why I needed these documents. I am grateful to her. Please give her a raise, she is worth it!!!
Do not bank with the post office unless you never want to see your money again. It is impossible to transfer or withdraw your money. My husband has just spent the last 3 1/2 hours on the phone and online trying to transfer his money. We have just sent our third email regarding it and still no response.

Disingenuous and dishonest. They charge more than Royal Mail for the exact same Royal Mail service. Rip off. Go elsewhere.
I used Singleton Post Office this morning and it was a dreadful way to start the day. The woman behind the counter is a rude, miserable ogre. She couldn't be bothered to greet me or reply to my greeting. She pretended she couldn't read the postcode on the parcel I was sending. Take a look at the Google reviews. This woman has been terrorising the community for years.
Absolute shocking service at this branch - made Basil Fawlty look like a reputable Hotel Owner thats how bad it was. And the usual cover up from the POST OFFICE themselves - well does that surprise anyone after the Horizon Post Office Scandal which caused suicides and loss of businesses and took ages to expose due to what has been proven in Court Post Office underhand practices - just watch Mr Bates Versus The Post Office. I had just lost my son , and went in to do my post as my usual Post Office was closed , cos its in a sleepy little village the staff look and treat you with pure contempt , they tried to accuse me of putting false weights on my parcels to extort more money out of me , i demanded a new scale , this was the same , i pointed to another scale and then they panicked and tried to chuck me out of the shop - humiliting me in front of other customers , the young girl at this counter was lovely , understanding and defused the situation , she weighed all my items and guess what none of them were over - what a surprise - NO WONDER THE OTHER STAFF WANTED ME OUT OF THE SHOP. It was later found out that the weight on the other 2 tills was wrong via Post Office Calibration team , even when i was getting served by this young lovely helpful girl the older woman was still trying to get me to leave the shop which i refused , so once again to humiliate me she pointed at me and told the people in the queue that i was the reason that the queue was so big , another below the belt remark , i had just lost my son and was treated in this horrific manner. I contacted the Post Office , they said the Post office Manager would phone me up she never did , i finally phoned her up the other day as she had ignored all my calls and messages , and today she phoned me up RUDE wasnt the word - saying she has told the Post Office and they basically said hard luck they are doing nothing , so now i am taking them to a small claims court for defamation of character , humilitation and the fact that the scales were wrong - AVOID THIS POST OFFICE - BUT SADLY AGAIN ANOTHER POST OFFICE COVER UP THINKING THEY ARE ABOVE THE LAW.
Always helpful, quick, efficient and patient. Staff (especially manager) willing to walk you through new things and give friendly, honest advice about services. I started going here during COVID lockdown and drive past 3 other post offices to keep using this one as they are so good, helpful, cheery and caring. Keep it going ladies!
Extremely rude staff in this branch. They don't understand that they are there to deal with customers in a polite and helpful manner. Unfortunately at least one missed the customer service training and the whole branch needs a refresher on answering the telephone!
The staff are so friendly and approachable, I don’t go in often but mum goes in frequently and she is always saying how all of the staff are lovely and very helpful
Wood Green Post Office I had a disappointing experience with their check-and-send passport service. Upon arrival, I was immediately asked to pay £16 before any questions were answered, without being informed that any issues needed to be resolved within a month. The service felt transactional rather than supportive, and I found the staff’s approach to be hurried and lacking courtesy. After only a brief interaction, I was rushed to gather my belongings, even though I needed just a few seconds to organize my documents. I would suggest considering alternative post offices for this service—you have nothing to lose by trying another location.
Why do I have to wait till the 1st November to receive a replaement Credit Card posted on the 23rd October. This is the 21st Century so it shoud take a maximum of 2 Days.
