Parcel returned from Royal mail

Parcel returned from Royal mail. Post office staff did not know why although they had completed the CN22 and I signed it. The parcel came back after 7 weeks with a CN15(b) form on the returned parcel. After 15 minutes, they sent me off with a contact number that could not help. Poor service. Visit an alternative post office if you want your post to be delivered.

My local Postman is great BUT when it…

My local Postman is great BUT when it comes to parcels they do not come any where near the time that they are due such as 9:30 11:45. It it ALWAYS well into the afternoon. This makes it impossible to plan. I have commitments which I am willing to work around but NOT the WHOLE DAY. If you say you will deliver between these time THEN YOU SHOULD. On top of that it's the same guy - who's not too friendly - it's like you have disturbed him by having a parcel delivered.

Long Ashton Post Office, Bristol

Long Ashton Post Office is an incredible business. Always have anwers, always helpful, polite and they get the job done for you!

Possibly the worst delivery company in…

Possibly the worst delivery company in the UK. The regular guys are great who deliver your letters, however, when you have a parcel being delivered not letters, it never arrives on time, the time slots are too long as well, and when they stick a note via your door they don't tell you what neighbour they left it with and the item reference on the last two were incorrect. I have heard they use agencies workers to deliver parcels. They clearly need more training. Lastly trying to get hold of anyone to speak to is like trying to speak to Pope.

Awful service from the Post Office…

Awful service from the Post Office losing a parcel. A long winded time consuming claim for compensation took four weeks to get an answer from them.

Hit and miss

This local Kew post office can be good. However today they wouldn’t take my Amazon return so had to go into Richmond.

2 more parcels that have gone missing

2 more parcels that have gone missing. Needed for New Years Eve for Charity. But they they are the worst delivery company there is. I would give them 0 if I could. But the executives are getting paid what they want. They would tell us that they need to be paid like this to motivate them and you must pay them a high salary, to get "them" the best people. Forget get it Post Office you have let us down AGAIN, due to your incompetence.

On 7th December my wife sent a paid…

Early in December my wife sent a paid for NEXT day delivery to our niece in Coleford Gloucestershire. Did it arrive next day? did it heck.on 17th December niece was told that no-one was home (that was a lie) it is now 29th December and the item has still not been delivered. My wife is going to the Post Office tomorrow (Monday) so I wonder what lies my wife will get told again. I think the PO have got a book of excuses to tell unhappy customers (I'm sure there are lots). I wonder if the buyer of the PO has been told a lie as to how good the PO is. Never trust the Post Office with any of your items as you are taking a chance on whether it will be delivered. UPDATE 04/01/25. The package has just been delivered this afternoon. I think this atrocious of the terrible service of the Post Office. This mix-up by the PO has cost my wife rather a lot of money, but will she get an offer of any compensation, probably not. Registered postage for next day delivery 7th Dec 24, delivered 4th Jan 25. I will not use the Post Office ever again for registered delivery, I will use a proper postage service.

Unreliable opening hours

The branch finder opening hours published online are a waste of time in Plymouth when shops like the one in Southside street, Barbican, are run by obnoxious unreliable staff who only open the Post Office counter when they feel like it. Have made a complaint on the Post Office website about the disgusting attitude of these staff and the manager's belligerent response when I told him their website said they were supposed to be open. The post office didn't reply to my complaint, apart from issuing a "ticket", and have just just left it hanging.

.We drive down from Fleet as this PO is by far the area's number one

We drive down from Fleet town because the staff and everything about this PO is remarkable. Instead of long waits elsewhere in the area we are always served quickly with competence and friendliness. There is a great shop attached for groceries and much else. We cannot recommend this PO too highly and there is also parking.

Opened cards

Once again every Xmas/birthday card I have received recently has been very kindly pre-opened (even though it was at the sign for service level). I think it is really sad that my nieces will never know the anticipatory joy of getting some money in a card through the post, due to people’s in this organisation seeing cards as a supplement to their wages.

A rubbish service at an ever escalating cost!

Received a card from the Llanelli sorting office on the 23rd December instructing me to pay a duty cost for a parcel. Went to collect it on the morning of Christmas Eve and the place was closed! Queues outside and no answer at the door. A rubbish service at an ever escalating cost!

Take a book to read at Heywood Post Office

The service at Heywood (near Rochdale) Post Office is atrociously slow. Even when it’s not going up to Christmas the wait time is ridiculous mainly because one of the four (not all open) counters is only for anyone paying bills and most customers are not. The manager is very often abrupt and only the female member of staff greets the customer.
