I choose Porta as it states to specialise in furniture transport. I booked an antique table to be collected. The courier had a few issues and delivered the table the day after, but it was fine; it also worked for us. I was a bit disappointed that the table was just placed on an old blanket in the van with no cords or other protection. The courier's communication was basic. He was polite, but I could say he was not specialised in handling furniture with care. So overall, it was good value for money but not a specialised service.

My first collection by Porta was much better than any other courier I have used. Heather was assigned my collection and was super helpful. Heather collected and delivered my rug to-day which was great as it did not stay overnight at a storage depot. Great communication too - texts were sent both to the sender and myself keeping us updated. Great service at reasonable price.

Really impressed with Porta! I was looking to move a glass dining table and sofa and was going to cost a lot to get a van big enough, plus, I didn't really want to drive it! I was nervous as I hadn't heard of them before and there weren't loads of reviews but I checked their trst pilot and thought it was worth the risk. I contacted Porta on their whatsapp and they were super responsive and helpful and I got a Sunday slot quite last minute and my van driver was really lovely (thank you Jordan!)! They gave me a broad time frame for his arrival and he was very responsive and helpful. He helped us get the sofa into the van at both ends and couldn't have been more helpful! They sent me a quick link to pay which was super easy. Overall I will 100% be using them again when i move and my family were so impressed they also will be! Really impressed and wanted to leave a review so others can feel reassured and support a brilliant young business!

After a poor experience with another delivery platform I stumbled across Porta. The experience was so different - there was a real person on the live chat who answered my questions promptly, my job was arranged and completed easily and the price was competitive. I’d definitely use Porta again and recommend highly to others.
