Shahrukh was incredibly helpful and fast at processing things for my house sale this year. The response times were always within 24 hours where possible and I was always kept up to date with what was going on in the process. I will be reaching out to Shahrukh again when I purchase a new house!

Fast and efficient

Had a really good experience with Riya from PLS Solicitors, having used them previously when we bought our first house the process was straightforward and was kept informed throughout.

I am disappointed with the service I received from PLS during my property purchase. Despite starting the process well in advance, I was not properly advised on the urgency of completing before the 31st of March to avoid the Stamp Duty increase. I repeatedly expressed my desire to complete on time, but I did not receive the necessary support to make that happen. I felt my solicitor was working for the lender and the vendor solicitors interest. As a result of the delays, I am now facing an unexpected financial burden, which I don’t have. I have tried to raise the additional funds but have been unable to do so. I hope my purchase don’t fall through. Furthermore, I paid my deposit long ago, meaning I have lost the interest earnings, while the seller has continued to collect rent from the property I am purchasing. I feel that better communication and proactive handling of my case could have prevented this situation. I would not recommend this firm to anyone looking for a solicitor who truly prioritizes their client’s best interests. Yes, we finally completed, Thank you

I’m writing to express serious frustration over how my mortgage application was handled by your associated legal representatives. Initially, everything moved swiftly through online portals, and I was impressed by the process. But after weeks of progress and receiving mortgage approval, I was abruptly informed—via email—that I could no longer be represented because the flat is on the first and second floors. This decision came without warning, after I had requested a callback. Instead of a conversation to explain the issue, I received an impersonal email filled with jargon. I was told it's “not the solicitor’s choice,” but no one took responsibility or offered a clear explanation. Since when is a second-floor flat considered a high-rise? This sudden withdrawal has left me scrambling to find new representation, delaying the purchase and putting the entire deal at risk.

We have worked with Sean Hibbert from PLS for our flat purchase process. We are in UK for 3,5 years and this process is totally unfamiliar to us. We were able to receive guidance and support when we need. Really grateful to work with them during this very long and sometimes frustrating process

Solicitors get a bad name and this now being a 4th house I have never found a decent one. Until now! Peter, Gemma and their team are incredible. I can’t recommend them enough. Despite being the busiest time of the year (Stamp Duty Increase) they all were patient, took the time to explain things and just got stuff done with no Faf! 5 Star from me and will recommend them to everyone. We was recommended PLS from the New Homes Group to purchase our house having had an average experience with our sales Solicitor and I have to say Caroline Newton was amazing. Very easy to communicate with and was very efficient with the whole process. I would certainly recommend her. We managed to exchange within 5 weeks and completed within the 9 weeks we targeted. If there was anything I think could have been better was if the solicitor spoke to the client at the start to lay out the process and what the client needs to do like sorting the mortgage and survey out. This wasn’t a problem for us as I was organised and knew what to do. First class service from Caroline from PLS and hopefully I won’t need her services again as I don’t intend moving especially with extortionate stamp duty costs.

As a company property investor, PLS amazing team of Armi and Ruby did an excellent job in helping with my property purchase. They are so professional and more importantly swift in their responses which ensures that more than the expected progress are made at every step in the process. Would not have expected more. Pulling the transaction through before the day additional stamp duty comes into force was an icing on the cake for me. What an amazing team indeed.

Sean was responsive, and had clear answers to all of our questions. The only area I would say could have been improved upon would be making sure that first time buyers understand everything and that things are explained upfront, however all questions were answered when they were asked so this is a minor point really. Many thanks for your hard work!

Excellent service from PLS and especially Caroline Newton. This was the second time we used them and the service and support was faultless. Their electronic portal system allows for fast efficient transfer of documentation and information. We used them for both our Sale and purchase of properties.

I was introduced to PLS Solicitor in January through a friend that initially used them with a very good review. I have been very impressed with the level of professionalism displayed by PLS especially Sharukh Jameel our Solicitor who not only provided regular updates but made sure we completed the purchase before the stamp duty deadline. This has been a very good experience for us as we went into the process with apprehension not sure if we would get over the line ahead of the April 1 deadline.

Fantastic service from start to finish. My case handler Liam Johnson was brilliant at handling all queries and concerns when it came to the sale of my home and purchase of my new home. Liam was always available when I needed him and made the whole process a stressless as possible. Could not recommend enough.
