A Disastrous Experience with PIA - Will Never Fly Again!

As someone who's been flying between Pakistan and the UAE for almost 10 years, I've never encountered the kind of issues I had on my most recent flight with PIA. Up until now, I’ve always flown with Emirates or Flydubai, with zero problems related to flight cancellations or baggage issues. But after hearing a few rumors about PIA's service improvements, I thought I'd give them a shot. Big mistake! I booked a round trip from Dubai (DXB) to Multan (MUX) three weeks ahead of time. Just one week after booking, I received a notification that my return flight from MUX to DXB had been canceled and rebooked to a much later date—totally inconvenient since I had to get back to work in Dubai. When I contacted PIA's customer service, I was told to visit their office in person to resolve the issue. In this day and age of digital communication, that was absurd! But I had no choice, so I drove to their office, got the flight changed to a different day, and thought the worst was over. That was until I landed in Dubai. To my horror, when I collected my checked-in baggage, I found that it had been severely damaged. The zipper area was torn, and my belongings were spilling out. To make matters worse, despite having wrapped my bag at MUX for extra protection, the wrapping was completely ripped apart, and the bag itself was slashed open. It was beyond frustrating! In short, PIA has not only failed to deliver on their promises of improved service but has also left me dealing with avoidable hassle and stress. After this experience, I am absolutely done with PIA and will never consider flying with them again. #PIA #TravelFail #NeverAgain #CustomerExperience #FlightIssues #DamagedBaggage

I flew from Yyz to isb on28th February…

I flew from Yyz to isb on28th February flight departure and landing was excellent but very disappointed with the conditions of the aircraft. None of the tvs were working every other toilet was clogged and out of order not happy about this atall food quality was good but very low quantity and small portions.

Very poor service

Very poor service , plane was fully broken , even the eating trays , I was told to balance my food on it for my 2 year old. Spicy biryani for my 2 year old , when asked if there’s any yoghurt or any other food they said this is the best they can do . Toilets were broken My seat smelt of urine so bad I asked them to move me if they can as I was almost sick and nauseous due to the smell and they told me to sit somewhere else .. once I settled my 3 kids (2,4 and 6)they told me to sit there . They then said it’s 60 dollars per person sitting there even though these seats were broken the tvs weren’t working , not sure why they wanted to con us. I asked them to get rid of the foul smell and I will move back no problem . They kept harrsssing us . They also changed my ticket and sent us 5 and half hours before our scheduled flight so in total we were now staying 26 hours- we asked for a hotel as we would require two hotels now due to change of time it was now two nights we had to stay , they were very rude and said you have no chance for anything go buy your own hotel , we only made it earlier it’s not our fault, very aggressive and rude , DO NOT FLY WITH THESE CON ARTISTS ..

Huge Potential Missed

Not bad at all. The whole process was smooth, the take-off and landing was actually great. The best part was the food. Awesome biryani. There are though aspects that definitely need an improvement. The cabin crew barely smiles and looks like they have been forced to work. The planes are just not top notch and definitely of older quality. Seats were not comfortable either. Too hard and congested. Overall, I would rate is as 3/5 while hoping that Pakistan government could really work on PIA and bring back its glory.

Lost my luggage Didn’t deliver me

I recently had a terrible experience with PIA airline. They lost my luggage, and despite assurances, it was never delivered. To make matters worse, I didn't even reach my destination on time due to their inefficiency. The lack of communication and poor customer service only compounded the frustration. I would strongly advise against flying with PIA based on this experience.

I flew from SKT to JED on PIA and it…

I flew from SKT to JED on PIA and it was a terrible experience. The staff spoke Punjabi to everyone, lunch was just rice, and water was given in small glasses on request. There were broken screens, dirty seats and windows, garbage under the seats, no reclining seats, no legroom, and narrow walkways. The staff was all 40-45+ years old. It was my first PIA flight in 12 years due to an urgent travel need, and it was the worst 5 hours of my life.

Worst airline

Worst airline. 7-8 hours delay for each flight operating in Asia is their hidden policy. Every flight is late means, this is their agenda and practice. Shame on their management and staff for telling lies and lies always. They don’t even respect the time of HAJJ flights. MUST BOYCOTT this airline. This MUST BE BANNED forever.

I feel like we get really lucky during pia its not that bad the only issue was the return back to Canada from Lahore it was good/bad I knew service was bad but I wanted to stay longer since 1 week wasn't enough

No wonder why PIA incurs huge losses…

No wonder why PIA incurs huge losses and has lost the credibility amongst international as well as local passengers. Blatant breach of safety standards by travelling a lady in the cockpit during take off, flight and landing..... PIA flight PK 456, Skardu to Karachi on 17 April 2024. Safety of flight and passengers was seriously compromised by Protocol or personal relationships when a young lady with long hair, in casual dress, was observed to enter the cockpit of the aeroplane, and remained inside the cockpit during the take off, entire duration of flight, and the landing operations thus by-passing all safety procedures, risking everyone's life, and the property. Flight departure was initially brought forward by 30 minutes but about 15 hours prior to departure it was announced to be late by 5 hours. These 5 hours could not be utilised due to short notice of change. PIA flight PK 455, Karachi to Skardu on 13 April 2024 had schedule changes/delays when initially they announced 30 minutes prior schedule departure and few hours prior departure they announced delay of 2 hours, then 30 minutes and 30 minutes twice, and actual departure was further delayed by another 45 minutes, so total delay of 3H 45M in last few hours of scheduled departure
