Orlando Rent a Car has mixed reviews from customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and expensive.
Very efficient service at the Playa Del Ingles office, both at pick-up on 8/7/2025 and return on 11/7/2025.No attempt to sell unwanted excess insurance, just an explanation of the choice I had to take it or not. I'm not entirely sure the car I was given was truly an equivalent of the VW Polo I booked although that didn't detract from excellent service otherwise.
The lady at the front desk was very helpful, we got a c class car: toyota with 6gears. Well kept and clean. Air con and eveything was on point. No waiting when picking up, and legt the car outside theor office and delivered the keys;) I can recommend Orlando car rental via Bahia Feliz;)
Ik huurde een auto via DoYouSpain (DYS) in Playa del Ingles aan een promotioneel tarief bij Orlando. Bij afhaling waren de dames aan de balie zeer vriendelijk. De auto op zich was een wrak. Zeer oude Citroen C3 met heel veel kilometer op de teller. Motor gaf steeds een technische storing aan die moest hersteld worden. Volgens Orlando kon dat geen kwaad. Versnellingsbak was murw gereden. De bergen door in eerste en tweede versnelling is geen pretje. Op de autostrade kon geen snelheid gehaald worden. Auto was rondom beschadigd en het interieur was vies. Geen publiciteit noch voor Orlando, noch voor DYS. Neem geen verzekering bij DYS, Orlando biedt een gelijkaardige verzekering aan voor +/- dezelfde prijs en als je die neemt hoef je geen borg te stellen.
UNA AUTÉNTICA VERGÜENZA! Varios motivos por los que no alquilaría de nuevo aquí. Pedimos una silla de viaje para bebé, que por lo pronto nos cobraron prácticamente la mitad de lo que costó alquilar el coche durante 3 días. La silla está rota y no realiza su función de seguridad debidamente, lo notifiqué y me dijeron que no tenían más, pero lo peor de todo en este aspecto es que la silla me la dejaron en la carretera para que la montase yo, viendo que iba con un bebé, mi mujer muy embarazada y cargado de maletas. Un falta de hospitalidad y profesionalidad tremenda. Al montarme en el coche veo que el depósito no está lleno y le falta 1/4, y me hicieron firmar un depósito lleno para devolverlo lleno, lo notifiqué también por supuesto, y me ignoraron. El trato fue horroroso a la hora de gestionar estas discrepancias; no se preocuparon ni tampoco se hicieron cargo. Al montarnos al coche notamos que hay varias cosas rotas dentro del coche y me di media vuelta para notificarlas también, ya que no cogí el seguro a todo riesgo, y al no estar anotadas en el mapa de daños me dijeron textualmente: si quieres quedarte tranquilo contrata el seguro a todo riesgo, que supuso prácticamente la totalidad del alquiler del coche. En definitiva, el precio de esta empresa, que es lo más atractivo, se convierte en un engaño al tener que contratar el seguro, porque los coches están hechos una porquería y los extras, como por ejemplo silla de coche. NO LO RECOMIENDO EN ABSOLUTO. Ha sido un error por querer ahorrarme algún dinero, que me ha salido más caro y encima me llevo un sabor de boca muy muy agrio.

Ho noleggiato una macchina con Orlando nel mese di ottobre 2019, a Tenerife. E’ stata una pessima esperienza. Mi hanno dato una macchina vecchissima, piena di botte e graffi ovunque e con ruote da cambiare. Ma non è stato questo il problema. Come ho preso la macchina mi è stato chiesto se volevo pagare per un assicurazione aggiuntiva (80€), nonostante io avessi già pagato l’assicurazione totale tramite Ryanair, attraverso la quale ho noleggiato la macchina. Ho rifiutato. Una volta riconsegnata la macchina, mi è stato detto fosse tutto a posto e che l’indomani avrei rivisto i soldi della caparra (315€) sul mio conto corrente. La sera stessa mi arriva una mail da parte loro, dicendo che avevano trovato un danno alla macchina e pertanto non mi avrebbero restituito i soldi della caparra. Chiedo loro spiegazione e la foto del suddetto danno. Mi rispondono e mi allegano una documentazione dove vi era la foto del danno, danno che già c’era. Avendo fatto le foto alla macchina, prima e dopo, invio loro le mie foto dove si vedeva palesemente che il danno era già presente prima che io prendessi la macchina. Dalle foto si poteva percepire che la macchina era ancora dentro il loro deposito e la data e ora corrispondevano a quando l’avevo presa. Dopo un mese circa mi rispondono che è stato un errore da parte loro e che mi avrebbero restituito i soldi. Ad oggi, dopo di due mesi ancora non ho visto nulla e non rispondono alle mail che invio. Leggendo altre recensioni ho visto che è un loro modo di operare e altri, come me, sono stati truffati da questa compagnia. Sconsiglio vivamente di noleggiare con loro.

Do not use orlando car hire the theives took 780 euros from our account as we where travelling home and said there was damage to the car . When we returned the car we where told it was ok and left for the airport . They said there was damage underneath the car . Unfortunately i didnt do a thorough under car inspection when picking the car up! This was pre existing damage that they hadnt repaired and charged us and god knows how many other people woth this scam . If you have any sense do not use this company

I rented a car in Lanzarote via the OFFER Car Hire website, which is nothing else than a rebrand for Orlando Rent a Car. I was a bit worried given the very bad reviews for Orlando but the quote was so good even after including full coverage that it was worth giving it a try. In fact everything was super smooth; the pickup was already waiting for us in the designated locaton when I landed. The check-in at the Orlando base took less than 10', the car was a better category than what I had booked, and in quite good condition. Chekout went smoothly as well, they barely checked the car given that I had full coverage. No hidden fees, no extra costs for fuel, no credit card pre-authorization. I never submit reviews for car rentals but I think it is worth reporting an excellent customer experience given the very bad reviews that can be found online for this company.
