The online communication was good. For some reason delivery was not an option and I had to collect from the Chester store. I was waiting for ages in a crowded, hot shop for an order that should have been waiting for me. The man who served me said 'good news she found your prescription' after my waiting a while. I won't be using this service again.
Absolutely appalling service, they never get back to you. Ever. Avoid at all costs.
Unsatisfactory response from the doctor for skin soreness, seemed like a generic AI response. It was a chunk of copy pasted text of a range of skin conditions, not a diagnosis of which one mine was. No explanation of how it was caused so I can prevent it happening again. They also said they can't prescribe anything for it and told me to buy something from their shop, when the first time I used them they prescribed a steroid cream which my usual pharmacy delivered. So this time I'd have to see a GP anyway, to be able to obtain said prescription. I asked 2 follow up questions, how could I possibly have got it and what is the diagnosis. I've waited a week and no answer just a closed case and unresolved soreness. Will be using my local pharmacy instead. Wouldn't recommend. Edit after response: I've checked the follow up message and all it contains is an explanation from a different doctor, of why they cannot diagnose. Explaining a skin scrape/swab would be necessary. This defeats the purpose of offering a service to send photos. My rating still stands for my experience, physically going to a gp or pharmacist is required and I'd recommend avoiding Superdrug for their "Skin Condition Diagnosis" service.
I submitted a photo assessment, paid £20, and was assured that I would receive a response within 24 hours. It’s now been over 48 hours and I’ve heard nothing. Definitely a case of false advertising. I am now reluctant to use this service in future.
I paid the fee send the money and send photos still no response 48 hours later they said they would contact me within 24 hours a complete con
