I had a wonderful experience throughout the entire process! I felt it was incredibly informative in not only content, but strategy as well. Jill, our course teacher, was wonderful and really encouraged everyone to ask questions and seek guidance to feel confident and prepared for the Exam. The portal was great, especially the practice exams. They were a huge value and as I studied during our self study week, I kept the same study hours focusing on those while hand writing the answer/ explanation of the questions I got wrong down to cement the correct information .
I took the NMLS education course with OnCourse Learning and would not recommend it. The user interface is outdated and difficult to navigate. There’s no live agent available, calls go unanswered, and email responses are automated and unhelpful. The course content is repetitive, and the practice tests don’t explain why answers are correct or incorrect, which limits their usefulness. The biggest issue is the conflicting information about course deadlines. Their site lists both 11:59 p.m. and 6:29 p.m. as cutoff times with no clear explanation. I completed my final class, but because of state requirements for time spent, I can’t finish the course until the system lets me move forward. I’ve tried to get clarity, but haven’t received a real response. If the deadline is 11:59, I can complete the course. If it’s 6:29, I may have to start over entirely. Given the lack of support and the cost of the course, that’s unacceptable. I would strongly recommend looking at other providers.

I have called several times to be refunded on the Mortage Hq portion of the total balance..each time I get pushed away or left on hold...my next step is reporting you to State of Illinois, BBB , CBRE ...I won't stop... I can be reached at 630 808 8888. I won't stop.

20+1 Hour CT Pre-Licensing Package 14 day OIL video. This is the first time I have taken any sort of online video course so I don't really have anything to compare it to, but I really liked the instructors on the videos for the 20 hour course. I felt like they did a great job of breaking down the material and explaining it in a manner that made it easy to understand. I found the gentleman (I forget his name) to be very engaging and really liked how he was able to bring some humor to pretty dry material. The woman (forgot her name too) was also good, I really liked how she would give little tips and tricks on how to remember things. For example, to remember what the Homeowners Protection Act (H.P.A) was for she used the trick Hating PMI Always (H.P.A.). That was just 1 of many that she gave throughout the course but they really were helpful when studying and trying to remember everything. As for the additional 1 hour CT state portion of it I was disappointed when it strictly reading what was on the screen to learn the material rather than having someone explain it by video like the 20 hour was. I was not a fan of this method for the class as you were left on your own to figure it out. The instructors in the video had a way of delivering the information in a way that it was easier to retain then by just reading it on your own.

Poor technology does allow the student to be in full screen mode and switch pages or continue without having to constantly reduce screen size.
