Poor quality vehicle and no response from team on this
I received an email requesting to do a customer experience review. I initially decided not to do it on Google platforms as I don’t necessarily believe in criticism on public platforms, but since the team ignored my email below sent more than a week ago, here goes. My experience this time was unfortunately not great with the rental vehicle we received. I gave some feedback to the friendly staff member on returning the vehicle. The Mazda Demio we had was a disappointment. My summary below: The vehicle’s overall exterior condition was not great with for example the front number plate hanging skew upon picking it up. Numerous dents and scratches also on the vehicle etc. When I asked if we could have another vehicle it was declined. So, we accepted the vehicle and off we went… The vehicle’s radio had no reception as the aerial was what appeared to be broken off. The radio unit was only partially receiving bluetooth streaming which made the extreme rattles Inside the vehicle from numerous body parts difficult to deal with. These rattles were on the open road on speeds above 75kph and more aggrevated on rough paved road seals (we only travelled on paved roads). The car is so noisy with plastic interior rattles- that it really took quite a bit of scenery enjoyment from us on the days we travelled on the beautiful stretches of road to Wanaka and Glenorchy. I trust you will take this feedback and see this in a positive way- as I was a returning customer as we love Queenstown. I am very doubtful if I will book from Omega again on my next planned trip next March we already have slotted in for Queenstown based on this car’s “experience “
