Canadian Customer Service + Amazing Speed
I have been a Novus customer for a few years now, and I love them so much that I got all my family to get Novus as well. If Novus is available in your area... GET IT.
They have Vancouver-based customer service, no more talking to someone in another country and getting passed from one person to another with no solution. This alone for me was enough to switch from Telus to Novus.
Their price and speed are very good. No contract, no bs. They genuinely care about customers.
I swear, every time I had an issue, they would resolve it within 15-30 minutes over CHAT! Don't even need to call them.
I wholeheartedly believe Novus is a breath of fresh air in the wifi market, where finally you don't get tortured with lengthy bad customer service and poor internet speed. The only downside... It's not available everywhere. But if it's available in your area, you would be crazy not to go with them.
Beware of charges for survey completion
Beware of charges to complete a satisfaction survey! I called Novus to renew my contract with them, and received a text message a few days later asking if I would complete a survey about my recent interaction with them. When I texted Stop, I was charged for the text. Apparently Novus has hired a California company to do their surveys! Novus claims to be a Vancouver based company. Why hire an American company to do your surveys and charge Canadians to complete them??
Fast and experience instaltion.
The 1st time to use Novus ,Chris is an experience technician, fast and know well to install the network, excellent job.
Literally one of the best companies…
Literally one of the best companies ever.
I've been with them since 2008 and this company has amazed me time and time again because they are the exact opposite of the big cable giants that everybody hates.
Some examples: From 2010-2020 they never raised the cost of my internet plan, but without even telling me they raised the speed of my connection several times. 20mbit, 25, 30, all the way up to 45mbit over several years. They did this to stay competitive I guess but the fact that it happened automatically is amazing. Then 2 years ago I signed up for a no contract plan for 500mbit at $70/month with a 2 year price guarantee. Amazing deal. Then this week they had a new deal offering 1000Mbit for $50 a month. I called and asked if existing customers can get that deal and they said yes. So I literally doubled my internet speed and now I am paying $20 less per month and this is price guaranteed for the next 2 years.
Their phone support has always been amazing and I can tell you their techies know their stuff, they are not just dummies reading from a script.
Basically if Novus is available in your building you should go with them it's as simple as that. That's the only downside - they are not available in all buildings.
