I have over the time on Trustpilot and on the socials stuck up for Napo. Why not? Always been exceptional to my pets. However one thing I could never write about were claims, what the claim was for, how much, and whether paid in a timely manner. Well today’s the day. My vets had to claim twice but it was an all in one medical issue and operation.
First off I would like to say we have been a customer of Napo for several years and never claimed. People always say that whether they have claimed or not the monthly direct debits go up a lot. Yes they do, cost of medicines from the vets, operations, consultations, everything costs. But I have peace of mind my dog is covered. All insurers will be the same, especially like us having a dog that is nearly 8 years old.
So my dog, my husband found a huge mass lesion - scapula. The first visit my dog had to be examined and I assume bloods taken, and to check the size of the lesion. The size was 10cm +. The first bill was around £300, however we paid the first £99 excess. The vet direct access to Napo for claims, the claim was put in and paid in less than 24 hours. The next part of the claim happened last Thursday, the claim wasn’t put in until around mid day today (Monday 15th). I received an email saying the insurers Napo had paid my vets in three hours.
Everyone raves about Petplan, saying they are the best and all I’ve heard is bad things. Napo is NO1 for us. Giving me faith that these truly do love our pets. Even my vets Manager was impressed.
Thank you Napo and the claims team for a speedy outcome.
