Munro Respiratory Services was born out of firsthand experience. Founder Kate Munro grew up in Central West NSW with deep ties to the mining and exploration industry through Munro Geological Services, and spent years on regional worksites before starting the business. When new NSW laws made annual fit testing and silica awareness training mandatory for workers exposed to high-risk crystalline silica, Kate saw local businesses left without a provider who truly understood their industry. Munro Respiratory Services was created to fill that gap. Today, the team delivers respiratory fit testing and silica awareness training on-site across NSW, working around each client's schedule rather than the other way around. Led by National Program Manager Kate O'Connor, whose background spans nursing, public health and NSW Health, the team brings both clinical care and practical, real-world understanding to every session. Proudly local and proudly practical, Munro Respiratory Services is focused on one thing: keeping teams safe and businesses compliant, delivered by people who have lived the working conditions they train for.
