Great Experience and Clear Path going forward

Really good experience so far with the team getting me set up and ready to start the course in January. I was having a good look round to see which course was the best for me and after speaking with Jack we figured out the full stack developer course was the route to go down. Without having that phone call with Jack I wouldn't be on this path now I am now, get that phone call booked it!🙌 I had a clear idea in my mind of when I wanted to complete the course by and Jack gave me some realistic targets to work towards and let me know of the support available to me. The platform is really easy to use and great to learn from as it's so interactive, I learn by doing, so it's perfect for me.

What I really liked was the onboarding…

What I really liked was the onboarding process, to be honest, it was very good. I was given every information concerning the BA course I wanted. Christopher was very helpful as he was very detailed with every information he gave and there was no rush in dishing them out. It made me feel they care about my growth and entertained all my questions as I am someone who likes to ask questions. I also love that the learning process and the payment process is very flexible.

The Experience so far has excellent

The Experience so far has excellent. They are so attentive and detailed to the plight of students. Learning is at your own pace and there's no interference with respect to ads and unwanted publications.

My experience

I had such a great process while sorting out my application, it was made super easy by Jasmine and she was very understanding to the barriers I kept throwing at her. Nothing but help and understanding. Fantastic experience I couldn't recommend more.

Given me so much confidence and support

Learning People have been so helpful for my career change into project management since March 23. I passed my Agile Foundation exam first-time and am now studying my APM PFQ which I am booking my exam in early 2024. Career Services have been a strong point as well as the weekly check-in calls from StudentCare have been really helpful to stay on-track. The mentors access is good but haven't needed any help (yet!). The long-term study access is perfect for me as I cannot dedicate large periods of time to studies consistently due to other demands. 100% recommend especially with the training and finance varieties available.

Great advice, great team

I've loved my experience with Learning People. In a world where everyone seems to bang on about the same generic project management courses, my consultant challenged me on what I needed and advised me on a different path. My research then completely supported what they'd said. Someone prepared to give genuine advice and recommend cheaper courses than they ones I'd asked for definitely surprised me. Since then the support has backed up what they said, Im two exams down, two to go and the careers team have already given me so much confidence. Definitely recomend.

Wonderful Careers Services support with the Learning People

I've been so grateful with the Careers Services support i've received since enrolling with the Learning People. Catherine has been very kind and helpful in helping me secure a new role with support on tailoring my CV, updating my Linkedin and preparing for interviews. She made time for me for weekly catch ups and sessions to plan and maximise my chance of securing a new role in the project management space. Thanks to Catherine's help and guidance I started a new position last week and couldn't be more thrilled!

AVOID Learning People if you’re looking for a company with a conscience

I’m a student with disabilities and I have never ever experienced a company that’s more successful at exploiting the weak and preying on people like Learning People. When they want you to sign up expect daily calls and emails upselling their services and singing their own praises but the day you sign up and your money has been gotten you’re the one chasing them to keep their promises. The worst part is that if you sign up, and for any reason (valid or otherwise) you cannot finish your exams within the timeframe you set up at the beginning of your contract your money’s gone and you have to pay almost £1000 to complete an exam you already paid for (£2000 in my case). I took two out of three of my exams in quick succession and even got praised for it by the same company, but then I fell sick and had to be hospitalized 4 times this year, had countless transfusions and a red cell exchange, got out and had to find a new job to support myself and they still wouldn’t allow me write my final exam without paying £700 on top of the £1,900 I’d previously paid as ‘my licence has expired’. Did I know last year I’d fall sick and not be able to keep up? They promised a CV review, career counselling, lots more and I never once got a response to repeated emails and calls to book a session. Guess it’s hard to keep faith these days as a business when all you care about is money.

Superb Careers advice and Support

I’ve had fantastic support with updating my CV, preparing for interviews and setting up a LinkedIn profile. Changing careers has been daunting and without this support and a lot of emotional support and confidence boosting I know I wouldn’t have secured the amazing position which I have just started. Both Rachel and Catherine went above and beyond to help me. I am so very grateful.

Go Elsewhere!!

If you want to learn prince 2, please go elsewhere!! Currently work as a project manager where my time is extremely limted. The Virtual classes which are 1 a month are not Interactive at all and you just sit watching a lecturer for 2 hours go over the same info you saw a month ago. I applied for 3 courses but never made it through even with one course. I extended for a year at a cost of over £1000 and was informed that i would get contacted regularly and i would be able to get help from tutors and 1 to 2 1's with tutors, but this never happened. I got contacted randomly once a month, always through the week at random times of the day, when i have mentioned many a time that i am unavaliable during these times. Unless you answer straight away when they ring, they dont call again and dont leave voicemails/email to see how you are getting on. You can be guaranteed that this was a diffrent person each time who had no clue where i was in the course and couldnt care less what i said. Oh and trying to call back, you will be stuck on hold for over a hour before speaking to anyone. I have said many a time that i was struggling and needed more support, from that i was instructed to write an email to an address i never recieved. I requested 3 month extension back in august, where i was informed that i would get contacted weekly, this never happended until the last month, where they believe calling me randomly during the day where i cannot answer my personal phone was considered to them contacting me all the time. I will be registering elsewhere and will be advising everyone i know to steer clear of Learning People. They drained all the enthusiasm i had for completing this course I have nearly 10 years of hands-on project management experience in various projects as a project coordinator and now as a project manager...no thanks to this course...FYI Prince 2 not recognised by the vast majority of companies. My advice would be to use QA training provider, as they know exactly what they are doing and offer allot more than the learning people have ever offered me, and for around the same price.

Highly recommend

Great experience so far. The content is easily digestible and if you’re willing to put the time in, Learning People provide a great platform for you to be able to succeed and make a change in your career. Change Career from Education to Project Manager

I signed up with the Learning People with a view of changing career. I am currently a teacher but at the end of August I made the decision to undertake a series of project management courses and exams. It has been hard work but I have felt supported throughout the process, the academic team have been knowledgeable and realistic, giving good advise throughout. Having given my notice in where I currently work, I have now secured a position as a project manager in a well known global company. I am continuing to study under the guidance of Learning People and would highly recommend them as an education provider.
