Thanks to Alex Plummer for being patient and helping me progress through my journey to becoming a certified project manager. My experience with the learning people has been amazing. I can boldly say I got value for money.

It's rare of me to post a bad review but I am fed up with Learning People. This is for the gentleman/lady that is thinking of joining them. Do not fall for these 5-star reviews, most of them are just beginning their journey, got some career advice or got resume advice. I've been with them for 3 years and I am now close to the end of the course. If you want to study anything to change your career this is not the company to partner up with. I have been engaged with my courses and got the certificates but I would never recommend this company. You will pay loads of money, go into debt for the next 3-4 years for extremely poor quality videos. Imagine this, on your 3rd IT certificate you are watching a TV show as learning material. That is exactly what I had as learning material for CCNA, that is what i went into debt for 4 years. To top it all off, since last year they "upgraded" the way they are dealing with student requests, which means you have to wait 1-2 weeks for them to answer your calls or mails, you need to chase them all the time for your exam vouchers and the whole career building service where you "build" your CV has no use other than wasting time. I had 3 courses with them and from those 3 courses , 2 of them I found all the learning material needed for free on Youtube, better structured and explained and I have proof of it. Do not be a fool like me and learn from my experience with them. There are plenty of better options.

For weeks now, I've been trying to call them but no one ever picks the phone. All i ever get is threatening emails as it would seem they're more particular about getting paid than providing support to their students.

I signed up for Project Management courses with the Learning People in order to try and change career/industry out of my current management role in an accounting firm. I started the courses 3 months ago and my main contact has been a team leader named Alex Plummer. He has been amazing from day 1, he is clearly very informed and explained everything clearly in detail. Since signing up he has been in regular contact via email and phone calls just to track my progress and see how I am getting on. He has been very fast with responses to emails, especially when I am ready to sit exams and the exam vouchers have been turned around quickly (even when he has technically been away on leave which I greatly appreciate). Overall I couldn't fault him and would highly recommend him to anyone. The careers services team have also been keeping in touch and checking in on me for when I am ready to properly start the job application phase. They offer help with CV writing and interview prep which is a great bonus. The course materials/videos themselves have been perfect learning materials for me, easy to follow and understand and while it is recommended you also read the relevant 'handbooks' for each qualifications, I have found that the learning people's portal and practice exams have been enough for me to successfully pass my first 3 exams (out of 5 total) first time with a comfortable score above the pass mark. I looked up the cost of each course separately when I was first researching and found that the combined cost roughly equated to what I was paying the learning people, except with the learning people I also get the additional human support plus the CV and interview assistance from the careers team, so was 100% worth the money. I also looked at the reviews which are clearly overwhelmingly positive. The few negative reviews I found were almost entirely related to people who had changed their minds and were trying to cancel the course, rather than from people who were actually doing the course so I would suggest not being put off as this is something you will see with any online review system. In summary, I would highly recommend using the learning people to complete your courses, my experience has been nothing but great and I look forward to starting my work with the career services in the new year.

Date 23/12/2023:s currently handling the issue well professionally unlike people in the past and he has resolved to include the actual training that I need and I am still reviewing it, in view of this, I will give additional 1 star and pause on taking the issue further legally. Date 21/12/2023 : Very demoralizing experience, I registered for Blockchain Certification 2022, this was after running away from EC Council thinking Learning People are better based on fake Ratings I read online, bad enough they took me to the same EC Council that I ran away from and open up Percipio for PYTHON COURSES - This is not the course I registered for. I discussed this anomaly severally with their Student care both Calls & Email but no help, this continued for OVER A YEAR.I was sick at a time and could not even open their Fake Python Courses that they offered against my wish. But what they are more particular about is their Money not to resolve your issues, I totally support people that have called this a BIG SCAM. It is horrible and yet they are threatening to move me get back their remaining Funds- Funny.

My tutor has helped me through the stages of enrollment and the course so much, and has made it a very easy and seamless experience getting started towards a new career.

The resources online are decent, but the student support seems pretty atrocious. I was assured that I would have plenty of time to study with the Learning People alongside working full time and being at university part time. Unfortunately, I was sold this course while being off sick with mental health problems so wasn’t making the best decisions. I’ve since got a job in IT so don’t require the Learning people any more, yet any email to student support goes ignored and any telephone call goes unanswered. I feel like I’ve been scammed out of £3000 for a course that I don’t need, with no way of discussing cancellation. I’m at a loss. Update: while I was writing this I actually received an email from student support so fingers crossed this can come to a reasonable outcome. Further update: it seems that the Learning people lie when they said that they take mental health seriously. I explained I was unwell when I agreed to this deal, and showed a letter from my GP saying my stress means I wouldn’t be able to do the course, and their solution was that I’ll only need to pay £2000 instead of £3000. For a course that I can not do. So I’m basically being forced to give them money for free. This feels like I’ve been scammed, so I reiterate that people should stay away.

It has been great studying at Learning People to get prepared and pursue a certification in Project Management, and Agile. They have provided the best support I have experienced so far until now. Rachel from Career Services has been very kind, helpful, and patient with me, providing guidance and assistance with my job search, and LinkedIn profile so I can apply for the right jobs in the best way. I wish I could have known earlier of this course!

I just have no words to describe how wonderful the learning people have been to me. Fatima is so wonderful, she takes her time to explain things and ensure you are all set. They are so reliable and honest and any day I would recommend them to anyone looking to start their career

I was speaking to Callum and he helped me to make a decision about what course I should take. He explained to me how everything works and answered all of my questions and helped with any problems that I had. He was also very patient and flexible with giving me a call whenever I was available.

This has been a great experience for me from the learning people especially Zoe who has been amazing from the word go. They take their time to understand you better personally befire enrolling you. Giving you advise and making sure they set you up for success! Well done guys so far so good.

I spoke to Callum at Learning People for the career change into coding, and he was incredibly helpful and reassuring. He helped me with my questions, and followed up with phone calls to monitor my progress.

Coming from a non-tech background was a very tasking thing for me, taking my tech courses with learning people was the best decision I made. Starting from the course consultancy to the course itself was phenomenon, the tutors are one of the best you can find. After the certifications, the career teams are incredible. Most especially my career consultant(Catherine Topham) she is a true definition of career path guidance. She was with me assisting me at from the moment I got my certifications to building my outstanding CV, prepare me for interviews both aptitude and functional. She contributed greatly in helping secure my first job offer 2 months after I got my certifications. If you are on a fence of making a decision about which platform to get your Tech courses that will be there till you get your first job, Learning People is your best shot. Jack was a great consultant who led me through the entire process from end to end, any questions I had were answered professionally and promptly and I felt extremely comfortable going into the start of my course. I 100% would recommend it to anyone looking into developing their skills as a Full Stack developer.

Since I contacted Learning People the first time I have been receiving constant support from all teams, the sales manager, the coach during my studying period and the coach during my job research period. Both coaches (Catherine Thopam and Sabana Torrealba) called me almost every week to check my progress with the platform and to support me with my job research. As a new foreign living in the UK it was very difficult to re-insert into the labor market but I think that investing in my Project Management course with Learning People was the best decision. Next week I start my new job and I could not be more thankful¡¡

Stuart Crang from the Learning People is an excellent example of how to guide someone unfamiliar into the tech scape. I had experience at school but nothing beyond. Stuart guided me through how my old skills could still be a good launching point, the options available working in programming and what would suit my preferences. He was able to glean my interests with very little effort (as he's very easy to talk to) and apply them to the process. I've come away with a much clearer view of the future and will be booking with this company right away!

Guys beware. This company has zero integrity. Once they lure you to register for a course. They abscond and leave you all to yourself. You will be forced to pay their money if you pull out. They only contact you whenever they want to ask for money. Customer service is poor. They leave you at the crossroads. I have warned you.
