Useful learning materials.

I was assured during the initial call that job search support and recruitment assistance would be provided, which was a key reason I enrolled. However, after joining, I found out that these promises were false. I was placed in a course that doesn’t align with my goals, and despite raising concerns, no refund was offered. My time and money were wasted, and the experience felt deceptive. I would not recommend Learning People to anyone expecting genuine career support.

Communication from the company is great. They will reach out to you and check on you they'll also respond to emails promptly. There are classes offered and the teacher that I had was great. Whether you should pay for the courses which was £4k for me for a Cyber Security pathway is really relative. I'm glad I did. I needed to do this for me. It's a lot of money and despite the online classes I personally would have preferred a more community based class but tbh I'm not sure how feasible that would be. There are pros and cons to everything. For me the con was not getting to know my classmates and feel that energy you feel when in an in person environment. Not having that pretty much solidifes this as a self study programme. I didn't have a lot of confidence in my ability to self study and stay motivated so actually paying for it and having the company there in some way holding you accountable is actually a pro in the end. Because now I know that I CAN self study. So the crucial thing is finances. I paid around 4k and purely self studying that would have cost just over 1k. On the surface it seems like there's no comparison. There are however unlimited exam repeats as I understand and you also have access to Percipio which is the best resource and is pretty much priceless. Regarding the retakes, just bear in mind, they aren't stupid. There are landmarks that you have to reach before they issue your exam voucher. These landmarks mean that (I reckon) the chance of you needing to do a retake is pretty low. Less retakes is good for everyone involved.

Paige was really lovely and listened to my worries. She was on point with the information and understood my needs.

Course material (videos) was fine. Full functionality of platform only available on a desktop/ laptop which I was not informed of prior to signing up for the course - as I only have an I pad this this made it difficult to do practice exams or any of the labs. Student care were friendly and always “offering” support - however their follow through with any of this support when requested was 100% lacking.

everyone I have spoken to has been very helpful, they do not make you feel like you are stupid. I am making a very big career change and due to the clear explanations and support it has taken some of the stress out of it

The course is amazing, great customer service and support

The course content is well-structured and easy to follow, making it suitable for both beginners and those looking to refresh their knowledge. I also appreciate the availability of support via email when needed. However, one area for improvement is the phone support-calls are not always answered, which can be a bit frustrating when you need quick clarification. That said, the support team is responsive through emails and need to book a time slot with them to talk to them on the phone and overall, the learning experience has been positive.

I got all the support I needed to pass my first exam, even when I didn’t pass on the first try they don’t give up on you. They support you until you pass, LP don’t just let you sit exams without knowledge but they make sure you understand what’s coming ahead and make sure you are ready. It’s independent learning but you are never alone. My experience is nothing short of amazing!

Scammers, not answering the phone, imposible to get hold of them,just rip people off and not providing anything good

Please don't enrol or get your certificate here. Their material is outdated and the course is repetitive!!! I signed up for Project Management and did a couple of their modules and feel like I've been scammed, most of the study material in the course is pre-recorded and non-informative. You won't get any where and learn much at the end so don't fall into the scheme and waste your money. Their enrolment and terms and conditions are also dodgy, you will not be entitled to a refund or you can't cancel the course after 5 days cooling period, this is actually illegal to state in a contract to enforce such conditions for study materials and as a learning institute their student should be entitled to cancellation without further charges as the students no longer wish to partake in the studies and has terminated their enrolment. Please avoid, get your certification from Google if you're want be PMI certified there are heaps of great courses there or go for a proper TAFE or local institute and not this...... they just want your money and wouldn't care about the rest. I'm in the process of taking this to court after consultating a legal firm and I know they will cancel my account when they get the notice from court.

I heave learnt more from chapGPT than learning people or the people at code institute ever thought me. I’m over a year in still stuck with +£4000 dept. Please do not use these guys

Really so far it's been a positive experience. The original calls were long and thorough. I feel I know what I need to do and am supported to do it. Like everything it is about what you put into it. It's not for everyone and for sure it is hard work. But got my first exam under my belt and feeling positive.
